My wedding is May 21st and it is taking place at Seaside Beach as well. The location is in front of Seaside Restaurant so on the left side of the resort if you are looking at the water. I was actually thinking about putting toiletry items in the bathrooms as well but I don't know where the closest restroom is either. My recollection is that there is a bathroom near the middle of the beach but I'm not sure how close that would be to where the wedding is taking place. If anyone has more insight on this I also would love to know the answer!

I am wondering the same thing about music at the bonfire. If anyone had music at theirs, did you just spring an ipod and speakers or did you rent something from the resort?

I'm getting married on May 21st at Dreams and we are doing welcome cocktails the Thursday before the wedding. I love the idea of a bar crawl afterwards! I hadn't even thought about that. I've been to downtown PV once or twice and went to a few bars but I can't for the life of me remember what they were called. If you get any information on how to set something like this up through the hotel please let me know. This is something I'd definitely be interested in doing also. Thanks for the idea!

We finally scheduled a bonfire for the Friday night before our wedding beginning at 8:30 and going until 10:30. I was thinking about bringing an ipod and speakers to play during the bonfire. Has anyone done this before? Can you even hear the music on the beach? We might end up renting some equipment from the resort if needed. Just wondering if other people who have done bonfires had music playing? My parents also want to do a slideshow and are thinking about doing this at the bonfire. Anyone done this before? Thanks for any advice you guys have.

Thanks so much for the food advice. Filet Mignon was not on our menu options but I may ask what the charge is for that. There is only one steak option and it comes with chicken in a black pepper sauce. My fiance really just wants steak and no chicken so I may see if there is a way to do this. The risotto sounds delicious also!

We are trying to pick our cocktail hour canape, appetizer, dinner and dessert menu now. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions for what to pick? I have read through the forum and it sounds like the poblano cream soup is one that everyone likes but I haven't read much about any other menu items. If you all have heard of a canape, appetizer, dinner or cake flavor that is really good please let me know!

For those of you using Dazzling Details as your wedding planner- are you doing your rehearsal dinner through them as well? I am thinking about doing a welcome bonfire on Thursday evening b/c most of our guests will be arriving that day and then a rehearsal dinner at one of the restaurants at Dreams on Friday evening. I am just wondering if I should have Dazzling Details set these things up for me or if I should contact the resort directly? I have not actually emailed with or spoken with anyone at Dreams yet b/c Dazzling Details has handled all of that for me thus far. I don't necessarily want to pay Dazzling Details to do events on Thursday and Friday night which is the only reason I am thinking about contacting the resort directly. Any advice you guys have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Â Tyler

I just joined this site and am getting married at Dreams, PV on May 21, 2011. I'm using Dazzling Details as my wedding coordinator and am trying to decide on a photographer. Does anyone have any suggestions? We don't necessarily need to keep it super cheap but don't want to spend an extraordinary amount either. Maybe somewhere in-between? I am new to this site and getting married on May 21, 2011 at Dreams, Puerto Vallarta. We are using Dazzling Details as our Wedding Planner and Teresa at Vacations 4 Less as our Travel Agent. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
