Congrats!! I bought my dress from Mon Amie too! Now the waiting game until it comes in!

I have not had a reception there but I did visit the site when looking for our venue. The food is wonderful and it really is a beautiful location. Our wedding coordinator has done many events there and speaks very highly of their staff.

It seems like forever, I can't wait!!!

We decided to fly ours in from home (Southern California) as well. He came highly reccommed from several friends and when we met him, we fell in love.

The cost is a bit higher than local photographers, however we liked his style better and photography is perhaps one of the most important details of our wedding. He's also familiar with Los Cabos and our resort shooting many other weddings in the area.

We are doing snacks since our resort is not all-inclusive.

During our site visit trip we saw large bags of chips at the tortilla factory and will purchase those and jars of salsa down there. We are also including homemade Mexican fudge that will made at home and carefully taken down. Finally we will include bottled water with our own labels.

Hi!

I'm getting married at Cabo Azul Resort July 23, 2011.

I have hired an outside coordinator who I am happy to share her information with you if you are interested. She is a friend of our family whom we stumbled upon before we decided to get married in Mexico.

I am a total planner, so I am completely capable of taking care of most of the details myself. However, she will make my life that much easier and less stressful!

We took at trip to look at locations in May and she was absolutely wonderful. Took us to all the locations we wanted to see and shared her personal experience and photos of all weddings she's done in the area.
