  1. Thanks so much, Virgin Island Girl. I think that based on your comments, and those of others on various message boards, that Limetree, while a beautiful location, may not be the best place for a wedding and Lindquist would be the best choice. I will send your information to my daughter, since it is her decision and her wedding. We appreciate your feedback and suggestions.
  2. Elishia, Just saw your post regarding salon services when getting off the ship for your wedding. My daughter is working with Sugar and Spice Artistry, who will meet her at a hotel room near the ceremony site and do her hair and makeup there. She will only have to pay a nominal rate to use the room for 2 hours. Speaking from personal experience, I would not use the salon services on the ship. I thought that would be the easiest way to go when I got married, but I was very unhappy with the way my hair turned out; nothing like the two photos I gave them as examples. Check out Sugar and Spice Artistry's web site and it will give you an idea of their services and costs, as a possible alternative to the ship's salon.
  3. Thanks for the information. My daughter really wanted to get married at Limetree but I have heard (haven't checked yet) that Carnival has a beach party there on Tuesday, and so that isn't a good day to get married on Limetree. I think she will end up going with Lindquist, but she hasn't started working with a coordinator yet and doesn't know when she will be getting married. Since the ship doesn't dock until 10:00 a.m. and she wants to have hair and makeup done before the wedding, I think it will proably be sometime in mid-afternoon (when it's really hot). As you said, she wants to avoid the cruise crowds at Magen's Bay, although that is a beautiful beach.
  4. Virgin Island Girl -- my daughter is looking at Limetree as a wedding location because there is some shade on the lawn part of the site. But I have heard some not so good things about the iguanas and feral cats there. One poster mentioned that their poop is everywhere and they are big enough to spook some guests. Do you have any thoughts on this? She is also thinking about Lindquist and Magen's Bay.
