These things are good to hear. Our ceremony time is 11am at RIU also and we haven't started planning what to do inbewteen then and the evening festivities. I like how laid back destinations wedding can be and how, like someone said above - the rules don't apply! :-)

Hi, I'm thinking of having our wedding at GR Solaris, but haven't found much information about people's experiences there. So far, they have had fantastic customer service, and they're in our price range. If anyone has any information they can share about this resort, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi! I'm Julie and we're getting married July 2010 somewhere in Mexico, probably Cancun. We've got in narrowed down to three resorts, but am still trying to decide which. The resorts are RIU Caribe, GR Solaris, and Gran Caribe Real Cancun. I'm interested in if anyone has info about these and will search the forums to see if there's anything posted yet about them.
