I haven't officially hired him yet- but I am pretty close. I am likely choosing an outside DJ as the one at the resorts haven't had the best reviews (they just play the playlist). Likely not a huge deal but I would love to have all my guests on the dance floor so I will pay a bit more for him!

Is anyone bringing in there own band/DJ to the reception- I have heard the local DJ isn't the best so I am looking into it. Does anyone know if we need to pay the 'guest' pass fee for them??

I think there are some good suggestions for photogs in the Jamaica Vendor section. Check it out. For florists check out Lisa's Review for IBRHS she used a random florist guy who worked out really well! She put his contact # in her review. Good luck!

I think it would be best to push the 'tour' back a bit, that way we girls can chat and then those interested can hit up the tour- if those who are going can let the group know if 7:30 or 8:00pm would work better. It might be easier for 8pm then we can leave the cafe all together!

I am hoping that they get a wedding coordinator soon! I know that resorts typically have a skeletal staff in the summer since the high season is the winter, but I also know they've been having labor issues there. I think its just a temporary issue really. There are still alot of positive reviews going up on Trip Advisor. I too need the measurements for the tables and about a cajillion other things. I'll definetly be monitoring the situation as I'm only 3+ months away from my wedding. I'll keep ya posted an you do the same please
