  1. I ordered them from 'Asian Ideas' they had them on sale so watch out for the colours you like!
  2. Oh, ok, will try to repost the blogpost. Our schedule Wedding start time 3pm Ceremony and champagne toast 3:00-3:30pm Family/group shots 3:30pm-4:00pm Wedding party shots 4:00-4:30 Guests leave at 4:30pm B& G picture 4:30-6pm We had pictures at the Aqueducts until sunset. You will wanty to be there for pictures as it is AMAZING! The beach near the resort doesn't compare. There is also a small, private beach nearby the Aqueduct (on the same property) if you really want beach shots, it is near the 'small wooden hut' towards the ocean and you would need a golf cart to get there. We rented one for $20 from the golf course. My sunset was 6pm but check times for your month (and it set QUICKLY). Just an FYI there are no great 'sunsets' in Montego Bay, it faces the wrong way. The sun just slips over the mountain and that is the sunset. It was hot for our wedding but we didn't mind and we brought fans for everyone. We also had a nice breeze off the ocean. We loved the timing as it wasn't rushed and we got some alone time in between. Guests had cocktail hour from about 5-7pm in the lobby bar and some went to freshen up at this time. We got back to the hotel at 6:15pm and had 45min to redo hair/make-up, drink champagne and relax until the wedding reception at 7pm. We did the Great house the second day of photos, it is 10 min away, we hired a taxi from the resort. We were there 1 hour for pictures.
  3. Our photogs gave us this picture, our first pro shot! http://www.jonetsuphotography.com/blog/?p=443
  4. Thanks! We did not have to pay a per person/ plate fee. The $800 is regardless of the number of people you have (which is something I really liked about the venue) Almarie organized my music, we had a steel drum band. No one had trouble hearing the ceremony and we had 50 people. The road takes you down to the aqueduct but the bridal car park behind the other buses/cars nearby so you just appear from the side to walk down the aisle
  5. I brought 14 and that worked out well, they hang them from the ceiling fans and I think there is only 16 or so ( I only noticed 1-2 without lanterns), make sure to buy hanging LED lights at the same time it looks pretty when they turn the lights out for dancing! If anyone needs napkins I have 48 fucshia napkins and 31 pink chair ties for sale!
  6. Hi, I got married at The Beach so I can't be sure it is the same but for us we paid Almarie from Troipcal Wedding Jamaica for the ceremony and then paid for our reception 'a-la-carte' at the hotel e.g. rental Uncle Tony's $800, Cake $35, DJ $475, per person 'set-up' $8/person, etc. which for 50 people was about $1500. Tell Almarie that Jenn Blades referred you to her, she is super fab and the Aqueduct location is AMAZING. Hopefully everyone checked out my pics on my review as I posted a bunch now. The drive to the Aqueduct is 10 minutes away and the company organizes the transportation. For photos we contacted the wedding planner there via the online email address and paid $10/person for 1 hour in the gardens ($40 total) and we paid our photogs separately. Re: hotel rooms book the room you like, we booked Oceanfront and were NOT upgraded despite having 50+ guests at the hotel
  7. Hi, I posted a bunch of pictures in my review along with photos of the Aqueduct. I had to book with an outside WC to plan it as the Iberostar WCs won't do it. It is very costly to have a ceremony here, it is $2500 USD just for the venue (e.g. NOT including chairs, flowers, officiant, etc) But for us, well worth it. All the details are in my review!
  8. Hi Julie, I wanted to have a round table for the head table but I know they also have rectangles. We had 10 people in our wedding party so our head table had the B &G, parents and the Best Man, MOH. The round tables fit 8-10 people. I had table runners that were 17" x 9 feet and that worked perfectly. No sure the exact table size, I think it is somewhere in an earlier post though ( I think I posted it).
  9. Hi girls, I posted my review of the Iberostar Beach Hotel under the reviews section. I will add pictures soon, please let me know if you have questions.
  10. Added a few more items, including 'bride' bag, sandals and lanterns with LED lights, PM with questions or for shipping, thanks! Jenn
