Have any of you had a problem where you've had a hard time getting a resort to respond to your e-mails, return your phone calls, etc.? Are there any tips or tricks to speed the response? Trying to get married at the Mayan Palace in Nuevo Vallarta... Thanks!

Does anyone have any recommendations for getting in touch with the events people at the resort itself? I e-mailed, but they haven't gotten in touch in several days. (This seems to be pretty common though? Several resorts I contacted last week just started getting back to me in the last couple of days.) Won't be able to do a go-see as I live in Oregon and am using all of my vacation time on the wedding, but... I'm really excited about talking to someone and waiting to talk to someone about planning is driving me bonkers! Just wondering if there's a better way...
