Just wanted to post an update. We picked a planner after lots and lots of research and stress. We went with Jill at Paradise Services. So far I am completely impresses. We called and made our reservation and she had our package in the mail the next day. There were a couple of things in the quote that we wanted to change. All that it took was a simple phone call and it was done. She has been super nice and super helpful. I would highly recommend her by what we have experienced so far. I will let y'all know if my opinion remains the same after it is all said and done and I am a married woman.

You should check into airline and rental car discounts. I am getting married in Kauai in August 2010 and American Airlines offers a 5% discount on groups flights. It is not a huge amount but I will take all of the discounts I can get. American Airlines was the only airlines that every one did not have to be on the same flight. You and your guest have a 7 day window to fly and they can come from any airport American flies out of. Also when they send you your discount code they send you a code for Avis. The discount amounts vary by what type of car you rent but some can be as much as 60% off. That ended up being over hundreds of dollars that could be saved and used for something else!!

I voted for #1. It is more gender neutral so more people will be able to use them. I however would want the fushia one on my bag. It is my favorite.

You can have however put up a small table and use chairs for elderly or disabled. The website above is the rules. I was glad to discover this before I had made to many plans or spent money on items. The list on this site is pretty specific. Good to know this info!!

Has anyone used www.kauaiislandweddings.com for their wedding in Hawaii? We are looking around and have narrowed it down to a few different ones. I canfind reviews on most of them but nothing for these guys. They have an awesome photography deal for the price. It is enough to make me use them but I wanted to know if it would be worth it?

Those stamps are a great idea. About how long did they take to come in after you ordered them? I will have my STD's ready to go out sometime after this weekend but I can put them off a bit if the stamps don't take to long.
