  1. Susie- I LOVE the house! I say go for it. I hate moving also, but it is nice and open just like I like it. If you don't move in we will :)

Girls- seriously, thanks for letting me see that I am not going crazy!

I researched and finally made an appointment to drop off my dress to be preserved on Saturday. It is the same company that is in charge of restoring the drapes and textiles in the museums here in NY. He even offered me a discount because of the bridal salon I bought it from..SCORE..I love discounts:)

Also, I decided to plan for a SMALL reception at my girlfriends social room in New Jersey. My photographer said I should have my CDs of edited prints and originals in a few weeks. And the videographer said we will have the videos before the end of the month so all systems are a go...unless I change my mind again :).

My photographer offered a flush mount album with 60 pics for an additional $500. We are debating. I really want this type of album. They look sooooo good. The problem is with 1600 pics, how in the hell do you choose just 60?!? Are any of you thinking of designing your own albums? if so, what company will you use? I wanted a flush mount album for my house then 3 more for parents and God parents as gifts. I looked into Black River imaging and white house wedding (I think thats them) wondering if yuo have heard of any others.

Anywho.. talk to you lovlies later

I guess I should also have gotten rid of my cat years ago when I battled with major depression- I had no idea it made me an unfit pet owner- thanks for opening my eyes for me. Good one girlie!! You really made me laugh out loud! I think you are brilliant my dear wink.gif
  3. Did any of you ladies see this?!? How can someone be that stupid? She supported his crazy lifestyle and had NO clue he was scamming her. I can not imagine going through this. Sad thing is that is was based on a true story. Who marries someone that they really know NOTHING about!?!

  4. Thanks girls for the advice!!!... I definitely didn't want to come off as "needy" for gifts, money..etc. I just expected more cards or acknowledgement from the family on both sides. We only sent out 50 invites so we always wanted a small wedding. It seems that even the ones that I invited and they couldn't make it haven't called, congratulated or anything since we have been home. Maybe I shouldn't have said "cheap," let me replace that with "inconsiderate" instead. It was never about wanting gifts, maybe just a call or card to say congrats would have been great. Then again, these were the same family members that didn't even bother to accept or decline the invitation, I don't know why I expected a congrats afterwards.

I am over that... I had the most AMAZING day of my life when I married my soulmate, I won't let them rain on my parade!

Tricia... I asked our daughter if she wants a baby brother or sister today and she said "if you want to give me one that's ok, but I think I want a puppy instead" that was my dose of funny for today! I imagine I will be on the bandwagon after a 6-12 more months, I don't want to wait too long. Our daughter will be 6 in May and will be really into her school routine that I can handle starting all over.

So Susie..tell your friend to make booties for the last bride to get knocked up too please :).
