I Didnt get married at the esmeralda, But i did stay there for my honeymoon. I got married at the Bahia but the bavaro part, which is just another area of the large resort.

If you have any questions ask away. I will say you should for sure have a private reception, made the whole night even better!

I LOVE everyone of your pics! Specially the fireworks one though. Lovely!

I am really not one of those girls that was overly attached to my dress... i mean dont get me wrong I fell in love with it. But lets be real here, how many of us girls end up wearing our mothers dress for our big day. So I figured I would save items from it, that way if i have a girl, she can incorporate those into her attire.

It is a very large resort but  it will accomodate everyone with their likes. We were overwhelmed the first day by how big the resort is but you get used to it by your second day. The price of the wedding package was non-comparable and we received our 7 nights back so bride and groom stayed free (depending on how many nights you book with your party). We also had unlimited private functions and they were really upscale.

 

If you do book HRH I highly recommend you use HDC Photography. They are very easy to communicate with and are very reasonably priced. Our pictures are beautiful and our photographer Miljan was absolutely fabulous. He was very professional and personable at our wedding.  My husband hates getting his photo taken but somehow Miljan made him not mind.  Multiple guest have contacted my family after the wedding to inquire about information on the photography company. We got our wedding disc before we left the resort and within 3 weeks we received our wedding book. Couldn't have picked a better company!!

I was married in punta cana at the Gran Bahia back in July, and I am still addicted to this site!

I had a civil cermony, and when i had my meeting with the wedding cor. I told her that I had my sister who was going to do a reading, so they fit that in there for me. So I am sure whatever resort your getting married at once you sit with the WC you can edit the cermony to what you want it to be.
