Has anyone used Photosmiles Photography out of Cancun?

No worries at all. I have plently of time. So I talked to another photographer today who really impressed me. She is actually friends with a good friend of mine from back home who recommended her. He lives down in Mexico doing arial circus work for Club Med resorts lol and he got some info for me. Her name is Lidia Grosse and she is offering me a much better deal for the same price. Oh what too do. Anyone know her or used her and have any comments to share? I have scene her online work and talked to her just looking for other feedback. Thanks.

I talked to Jacy this morning and she was going to send me pictures of possible locations ie lagoon, poolside and beach plus some of the hotel photographers work. I am stuck between my extremely frugal fiance lol I will not say cheap but he's a farmer and well you know. I am thinking that we will end up going with the deluxe package, the gold or whatever and whatnot. I am not too keen on the buffet area/closed off. I know its free and can seat up to 35 people but I guess it also depends on how many other people come. If we are under 20 then I will do private reception. Where did you guys do your and was wondering if you had any comments. Thanks so much for the referal to Sasha Gluck, his work is amazing and i am hoping to book him. His prices are very reasonable.

Hey gals, was wondering if anyone has some information I am looking for. I am trying to find out what papers I needed to get translated into Spanish prior to arriving in Mexico. I have heard conflicting information. Now I am divorced so that might effect your answers. Do I need to get just my divorce papers translated prior too and get our birth certs done there. Do I get it all done here and sent to some Mexicon government office to apply for a marriage licsence. Any help from prior brides or even current who have light to shed would be awesome.

Can I ask what kind of package price you paid for your photos GinalynL. The photographer I really wanted was booked. Sucky but oh well. I have my dress, bought and paid for, currently at my SIL"s house away from FI. We have 17 people booked and paid in full, EBB was today lol. Now just to decide on a photographer and how we want to do the dinner. Anyone who has had their reception there still active on forums? Just curious as to what others did/or are doing.

We are getting married February 25 2010 and we had to book and pay by today to save 750 for an EBB which was insane since we just picked our resort 8 days ago. It didnt leave much time for everyone to commit. My TA explained it like this. You might get a better deal down the road or the hotel/resort might be under a stopsell because its nearing full occupancy and then people get left behind. To me that was the clincher. I know that some people have to wait due to work/holiday financial issues but it saved us 3000 because we are paying for 5 people. Everything I have looked at in the mayan riviera with a direct flight was arround 1700 to 1900 for the 5 stars. I dont think your being ripped off at all. We booked for 2 weeks and paid 2460 plus taxes which I thought was a bit high but its our wedding and its only money right lol. Thirty years later I will still remember this trip and thats priceless. Hello and congrats to everyone. We are getting married here in February 2010. I cant wait to read see how other brides experiences here were. I have read great things about Tulum and Cancun hopefully this resort delivers also. I am still looking for a photographer so if anyone has suggestions I would be very grateful. Happy planning.

Congrats, I am booking with Dreams Puerto Adventuras because they have an Explorers Club which I have heard is great fun for kids. We are travelling with our three children and my brother has 3 as well. HTH's.

Hello everyone, I am another Canadian bride heading to Mayan Riviera for a wedding at the Dreams Puerto Adventuras resort. Still looking for a photographer, the one I wanted was booked.
