I think I paid for them on March 1st and received them on March 15th, so two weeks to the day. They did ship pretty quickly though since I'm not too far from the seller! I hope you love yours as much as I love mine!

Everything looks great! I love that your guests can post their own pictures in the welcome book, so cute!

He may, you'd have to contact him. It just might be a little more expensive than $1 a cup.

My cups came in today! They look better than I could have imagined!
I ordered them from Oasis Promotional Products through ebay. Nick was great to work with and was very quick with responses. I designed the logo with Publisher and sent him a copy, then they were printed in about a week! The colors are translucent orange and translucent blue. Here's the link:

It was $50 for 50 cups plus shipping (I think it was about $12). For those couples in Minnesota, you can skip the shipping charges if you pick them up yourself! A great deal either way!

Everything looks great, I feel like my projects are so amateur compared to yours! Do you mind sharing what size labels you used for the chapstick? I can't seem to make an accurate measurement.

Khaki suits are on sale this week at JC Penny for 50% off! We went to try some on and the salesman told us the total would be $129 for the jacket and pants!

They also have lighter khaki and white suits for the same price, just thought I'd share!

I used Microsoft Publisher to make a mock-up. I knew what size envelope I wanted and that I wanted to use 8.5" x 11" cardstock, so I just played around with sizing until I found something that worked. I believe the invite was 5 1/8" by 6 1/2" when closed. When open it was 10 1/4" by 6 1/2" and the flap was 2 inches deep.
For the inserts, the postcard RSVP was 3" x 5" because that's the smallest the post office will accept. The remaining inserts were also 5" wide, but I'm not sure of the exact height at the moment. Again, I just played around with rectangles in Publisher until I got the sizing right. Hope that helps! I'd also just do a search on Google for DIY pocketfolds, there is a ton of information out there! -
We finally finished up our pocketfold invitations today! We only made 30, so the project wasn't too bad. It took 2 evenings and half of an afternoon to put them together. We're sending them out pretty early (over 5 months to go!) but there is a booking deadline for our hotel group rate so we wanted to let people know to get on the ball!
Sorry the pictures aren't great, my flash was being weird. What do you think?

I have the same colors! They look great!

The bags look great! I really love the tags with the message on them!

Thanks for sharing! I've also been looking for that resort map! I'm kinda bummed they are changing that beach, it was my favorite one simply because it wasn't crowded. Now people will be over there all the time! Did you happen to hear when they were expecting to have it done? -
I did my BD shoot in October, but am just now getting around to posting some teaser pics. My FI works from home and is ALWAYS around! Anyways, I did my shoot with Laura Ivanova and she was amazing! Her prices were great and she had lots of great tips for poses and definitely let me know when things weren't working. My makeup was done by Hana-April of Un.Veiled Styling and events. Again, she was amazing. I'm not much of a makeup person and was worried about how I'd look but I loved her work! I highly recommend both ladies to any brides in the Twin Cities area!
Here are the pics!
I'm only going to leave them up for so long because I'm rather modest, but I just wanted to share with you ladies, especially those in my area looking for photographers and makeup artists!

Thank, thank, thank you for sharing this! Not only was it an awesome recommendation for Blurb, I now have ideas for my wedding from your pictures!

I saw some decent looking men's grooming kits at Target, which I was considering for our GM but that may get expensive for 16 guys! What about some nice cigars? You can get those once in Mexico.

Thanks for sharing, they look great! I've been going back and forth about pashminas, but at that price they may be worth it!

Love them! The jute bags were especially cute, I may look for those for my bags!
Some of my DIY projects so far...

After seeing everyone else's DIY projects I figured I need to get on the ball! Here are some of my projects so far:
Wedding Shoes:
I bought some simple white wedges from JCrew when they were on sale for $12. I decided to add some style so I bought some blue capiz shells from a seller on Etsy and some white pearl-like beads from Michaels. The straps were wider than I pictured so I ended up with two rows of beads on each one, but I like how they turned out!
Survival Kit chapsticks:
After seeing Chelymo's chapsticks, I had to make some of my own! I bought the chapstick at the Dollar Tree (2 for $1) and measured the labels. Then I made a template using Microsoft Publisher and printed it out on sticker paper from Staples. I love them!
Welcome Books:
Again, I used Publisher to make a template. I included a letter to our guests, Schedule of Events, Resort Information like bars and restaurants and a map, Meet the Guests including where they're from and how they know my FI and I, and finally some Spanish Basics. The pictures are of the rough copy, I just wanted to see how it'd come together. I still have to buy a mini hole punch!
