    I never used to have a problem with her answering my emails. It would take 2days, even a week, and I never had a problem with that because I know she is a busy lady. I hardly ever email her because a lot of my questions get answered on here ;-)

    Maybe she will tell you her new email the next time she answers an email from you ladies, but here ya go!

    I also asked about the sand ceremony and they said they perform it but you need to bring your own supplies.

     

    AHH! Im at 6 months now!! When did you ladies start buying all your favors? I don't feel like I have that much to do, but I know I do cus I havnt done anything really!

    Don't they have sand ceromny available there? Or am I misguided? lol.

     

    I've been having tons of dreams just about being in the DR but I have had a couple nightmares!

    -we went through the WHOLE wedding w/out the photographer! And afterwards I was running around like a MADWOMAN trying to find out where he is. lol.

     

    SO just an update on my Deyanira email dillemma, its been 2 months, multiple emails & no response. what would u girls do? the only thing reassuring to me is that she charged by card for the deposit in the middle of all this no responding. I guess I'll send her ANOTHER email asking about the legal ceremony stuff but I feel like its a waste of time!

     

    Cruz- How are you having to civil ceremonies? is that possible? lol.

    Nat- I did save-the-date magnets in november and Im just now working on my invites which I want to send out in about 2 months (i know, its early, but i dont care lol). they are more formal but im staying within the "destination theme". Their boxed with shells and raffia ect.

    Then, about a month before the wedding, everyone should be booked, I'm sending out the luggage tags w/ the travel information.

     

    erin- your AHR invites sound soo cute! Can't wait to see them! when are you sending those out?

     

    Lately, I've been ADDICTED to etsy! I found Larimar jewelry on there that I think I want to get for my bridesmaids as a gift. If you don't know what larimar is, its a really pretty blue stone that is pretty much only found in the DR(i think). It would easily go with my BM dresses as well since my color are blue & yellow. Just a shout out for anyone whos looking for some unique gift ideas ;-)

    ashley: ya i was just asking you because your in the same month as me but shes been ignoring my emails for the last month.

    aaand I love your decal! where are you putting it? at the reception?

     

    Eliana: I was concerned about the "room for dancing" for the bordeaux terrance and Deyanira told me there is room lol. But the Himatsu terrrance is HUUGE! So theres definetly more room there!

     

     

    I'm completly lost when it comes to favors. I don't want to get stuff that noone will even use. Wine stoppers are cute but who uses those?? I have one and I never use it!     Mini photo frames would be cute too and they could double as place cards.

     

    I'm ordering the BM dresses soon which I'm very excited about! Theres this designer on etsy and she makes convertible dress and she found a very pretty fabric design to go with my wedding colors.

     

    After I ordered my wedding dress I think I'm finally getting back into planning mode! I'm putting together my invitations too!

    Check! Check! Check and CHeck!! to do list is dwindling down!

     

    toya- did they ever end up charging you for the deposit?? i know you went through this whole ordeal with them having double accounts on you? I'm just curious because the charge on my card has now dissappeared and I'm extremely confused! lol!

    ooh and i cant wait to see you pre-wedding packet so i can steal ideas!

    I love the idea of mismatched bridesmaids! Same color palette but different dresses! I found some pictures online but I'm having trouble finding where to buy. Davids bridal has some I know, and Etsy has some designers I'm sure. Has anyone else bought mismatched bridesmaids dresses? I'd love to see!

    I have just finally been charged the $500 dollar deposit from my debit card, which ofcoarse went negative, thinking that they would never charge it. I'm pretty pissed off, because I have been sending her MULTIPLE emails asking when this would be charged with other questions and confirmations as well which she has answered NONE. I knew sometime this would be charged (especially after toya's warning) but without even bothering me to email me back is just ridiculous. I'm probly the least finicky bride out there but this really bothered me. Just a heads up for you other ladies waiting for a deposit to be taken out...be prepared!

    Deyanira. SHes normally pretty responsive, well atleast she was before I confirmed.

     

    Cake question:

    Does it cost extra to get your cake to look a certain way?? I would ask Deyanira but I want her to answer my other emails first lol. Or do they have flowers or something we could add to it? I wanted the icing to have swirls like this>>>http://www.thecasualgourmet.com/wp-c...dding-cake.jpg

    Good morning ladies! I've been MIA and I have alot of catching up to do!

    As I was scanning through the pages, I noticed you guys were talking about your WC lack of commmunication.

    I have sent her a few emails on the same fact, confirming my wedding location, date, time, reception, and asking about the deposit. She hasnt written back to ANY. Its making me really nervous! I know my wedding date is confirmed but come on, give a bride some peace of mind!! So, I forwarded my last email to her with a note asking her if she could please respond as I have a sent her a few emails on the same subject. So hopefully I'll be hearing from her soon :-(

     

    On a positive note, I've ordered my dress! SO excited!

    My deposit is $500 as I have the Ultimate package and thats a BIG HUNK of money to just randomly be charged out of my bank account! So thanks for the heads up ladies, I have sent Deyanira an email asking when my account will be charged.

     

    Hmm, toya im sorry ur dealing with all this! Obviously SOMEONE charged ur card there if your statement says Dreams Punta Cana. I hope you get it figured out!
