I am trying to decide if I am going to do them or not and if I should get stuff in play de carmen as I will be there a few days before my guest start arriving. Hi Dawn, Â I am glad you had such a great wedding. I can't wait to see your pictures we too are using Claudia. I do have a couple of question as my wedding is coming up quickly and I need to answer questions for Rocio quickly and not sure what to do. How many people did you have come to your wedding Portofino and I would love to do a dinner too but having 67 people at 55 a person can get pricey and I was told if you have over 40 you have to do a private so I am just wondering if you had over 40. I would also too like to see pictures of the Las Rocas and what the set up was like, as of right now we are planning on having a cocktail party from 7-11pm with a DJ Bob who will play the full four hours La Laguna as didn't know the other place was an option. Hi x, I am getting really nervous as I begin looking at the numbers and the cost. We are having 64 people and there maybe a few more. So we have to have a private reception but I have opt out of a private dinner and I am doing a cocktail party with appies to save on some cost. I haven't heard back yet from Roico regarding some details and numbers so I am getting a little worried. I feel that I haven't got much down compared to others so I need to get it on. Hi Palladium 2010, I am getting married on October 20, 2010, it great to see someone else who is getting married in October too! It is coming up so fast and I feel I have so much to do. Have you gave Rocio your finally number count yet? Are you having a private dinner?

Hi Sarah, Your pictures are beautiful thanks for sharing them. I am getting married on October 20, 2010 and I am getting very excited and nervous. I am still debating on having a private cocktail party or seat down dinner for our reception that will be at the White Sands which I think is the La Laguna, with a DJ. I see you had a cocktail party for your reception and I wanted to know how you felt it went and what the set up was and how much food there was. We are looking at having 60 people and at 60 dollars a plate plus 20 a person for the ceremony it gets pretty pricey so I am aiming more for a cocktail party. So if you could give me a little insight on how it was that would be really helpful in my decision making.

Hi, Rocio has email me and I need to pick where I want to have my private reception. I know there is two places to hold it. Do any of you recommend one over the other. Colonial/Kantenah side or the White Sand/Riviera? Thanks

Congrats in advance demetriosbride! Have safe trip and awesome wedding can't wait to hear about your special day and of course see the pics..... Tammi your pics are so awesome and you are so beautiful.....I am have now decided that I am going to go ahead use Claudia or her other staff for sure. I was wondering what time your wedding was at as I saw that some of your pics where at night....or did they take them throughout the night. I really like the dark pics....and want to see if I can time it with my photo shoot. I don't know yet what time my wedding is at. I was also wondering if anyone has heard of someone having a cocktail party instead of formal/private dinner. I am really leaning towards this idea as I think it would be lots of fun and it is a little cheaper as my numbers keep growing. Rocio said it can happen I just wanted to hear if anyone knew if someone took this route to get some idea of what it would look like.

Not sure why there are faces on my last post....lol...they look confused...well I guess that is how I have been feeling lately. After catching up on all your post you all seem to have it altogether....I feel that I need to get on it...lol... I had another question I forget to add on my last post... does anyone know if you can have a buffet with the private reception or do you have to pick one meal. I just know I have some picky eaters coming and I know it would better to have a selection of food then one dish.....I guess they could go grab a bit somewhere else.... Thanks:)

I noticed some of you are from Canada. Are you or did you go through a travel agent and do you recommend anyone? I have yet booked my photographer but I am needing to soon....I am thinking about using Claudia too, I can't want to see your pictures Tamara...did you do TTD? I am a tight budget but I really want to do it....one more qustion, do we get to know the time of ceremony/location before you get there. I have sent Rocio email but haven't heard back from her yet.....Thanks in advance....

Hi Everyone, We have finally got our wedding date set. I am very new to this forum and look forward in chatting with all of you, as I bet you can answer many of my questions I have, and hopefully I can answer some of ours. Meg I do have answer for you in regards to getting married on Wednesday you have to be at the resort the Thursday before. As we are gettting married on Wednesday and Rocio said we needed to be there the Thursday before.
