  1. You just go to their office the next day and collect it. They set it all up and take it down again. xx
  2. We had our Ipod for music at our cocktail party and reception. It was totally fine, we just made up a playlist before we went, so we did not have to keep going back and forward to change songs or tracks. We were charged $250 for the use of the amp and speakers, as we were told it would be $2500 for a DJ!
  3. Â Really must say, the staff at the hotel are really good about making sure no-one interupts another's day, so I really wouldn't worry about the two of you organising things, as the staff will have that all worked out anyway! There was another wedding on when I got married and the photographer just took pics in another location until the pier was free for us to go and have our pics done there. x
  4. I had my wedding in April and wore Reese. I am selling it if you wanted it? How much were you looking to spend? Â
  5. I had Caribe photo do my pics. We got them as part of our wedding package too! I think they did a great job considering we didn't have to pay much. Some of my photos in the album were taken by Caribe photographers. They aren't the most artistic photos you can get, but good. We only had our photographer for an hour and we didn't choose to extend the time. We had our photographer start from the ceremony and photos after. A friend of ours who was at the wedding, wanted to do some photos for us as a wedding present, so he made up a lovely album for us and he did all the details photos of my shoes and dress and me getting my hair done etc and all of the reception pics. So that would be an option. Ask a friend if they would mind doing some photos throughout the reception so you don't have to worry about not having any. Â Re the dancefloor on the beach ... I obviously didn't have a beach reception, so wouldn't like to advise you too much on that considering there is $250 to be paid for it. I would say that after the ceremony most of my guests, me included, had kicked of our shoes and were wandering around barefoot on the plaza deck! So if your party are similar minded, then you prob wouldn't need a dancefloor, however, the older guests may want one for dancing on ... so sorry, can't really answer that one! x Â
  6. Thanks, everyone had a fabulous time! Before and after the wedding! Am selling my dress if anyone wants it!!! xx
  7. Yeah, I was worried about that too! No problem at all though, even when on the sand, as its quite hard packed, so was easy to walk on. Thanks for the comments! xx
  8. Here is the link to my wedding photos if anyone wanted to see the whole album. Some are the Pro ones by Caribe photo and some are just snaps by friends and family. xx  http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=56583&id=1457402869&l=6edf49f00e
  9. Maggie and Jay - I posted a couple of set up pics of Zavaz plaza a couple of pages back if you wanted a look?
  10. I got married on Zavas plaza deck! There are two though, I think. A smaller one and a larger one. There was only 14 of us in total, so we had the smaller area and decided to have both our Cocktail reception and evening reception in the same place. As there was only 14 of us, we arranged for them to have all sit at one large table, so we wouldn't have to pick and choose who would be at the top table with us. The photos are only snaps taken by family and friends, so aren't the greatest, but hopefully gives you an idea of what it will look like. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â

  12. To all who are trying to find Caribephoto on facebook = you have to enter it as one word, Caribephoto. Promise you will find it then! xx
  13. JaimeCF2BR  We only had one photographer. Again, this is because you get the bare bones when you are just using the package deal and not paying yourself. If you were paying yourself, Im sure there will be a whole range of options available! xx  For info, they also have a facebook page. If you put in Caribe photo into the search section of face book, you will be able to see pages and pages of pictures. x
  14. Thanks for all the lovely comments! Sorry, I'm not sure how to do the "quote" and "multi quote" thing yet! Â The photos are from Caribe photo. This should give all you girls who are just using the photographer that they provide with the wedding package an idea of their work. We booked the gold wedding package and the photographer was part of that. He was with us for an hour, starting from the Ceremony. We did think about paying extra and getting more time but, in the end, we didn't bother, because a friend/guest was going to be doing photos for us as a wedding gift and we just let him do the photos throughout the reception etc. Â They did a great job, however, don't expect anything artistic or anything like that. I can't help feeling a little envious when I see some other peoples photos, because as much as I love mine, it's the "what could have been" that goes through my head! I know I sound like a right moany cow, but I'm not, honest! I'm just being as honest as I can with you, so you know what to expect. Â I do sort of wish we had paid extra to have the photographer there longer. Am not sure if they would have done better photos if he'd had more time. My husband gets annoyed at me when I say this, 'cause he thinks they're fab considering we got it as part of the package! Â I have stuck most of my photos in my album on here, think if you click on my profile pic, it should take you there? Â
  15. Hi I am looking for £450 Or Nearest Offer. Went online and this currency is 450.00 British pounds sterling = 697.86 US dollars The dress fits UK 10/12, which would roughly fit an American 6/8, I think.  Hope this helps, let me know what you think.  Thanks  Marie.xx
  16. I was married at Azul Sensatori in April! Whilst I didn't contribute much to this forum, I got lots of tips and ideas from it and was on it almost daily! Thought it was only fair for me to share just a few of my pics. You will have a fabulous time! Â The only thing that I would complain about is the hair salon! I paid for a hair trial and was very happy with my hair and the girl who did it, however, on the day of the wedding, that girl was nowhere to be seen!! Also the co-ordinator had booked my hair appointment for 1.30pm and I was getting married at 4pm. At 2.30, I was still waiting to get my hair done! they eventually got another girl to start curling my hair, but then, when the trainee girl (who couldn't even curl hair properly) had finished with another client, she was brought over to finish my hair! I was not happy. She did not speak any english and I could not let her know what I wanted. I wanted a messy side bun, but all she did was sweep my hair to the side and pin it. I ended up bursting into tears because all I could think was that I would have awful hair on my wedding day! They ended up having to phone for another stylist from another resort just up the road and I felt crap on my wedding day when I should've been excited! I was eventually happy with the hairdo, however, did not get out of the salon until 3.15pm! Ended up having to run back to my room and slap on my make up and throw on my dress in a last minute rush! Was definitely not how I imagined the getting ready process on my wedding day! I thought I would be sipping champagne and taking it easy. I would just advise you all to make sure that if you are having a trial, make sure it will be the same girl doing your hair on the day, or there is no point! I would also advise you to get an early hair appointment, as they did tend to run over if there are a few of you getting your hair done! Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
  17. I was a Maggie Bride! Wore my Reese dress for my wedding in Mexico and it was amazing! Never once doubted my choice and everyone from family to other guests at the hotel, loved it! They said it was so unique!
  18. Hi, I was married in April 2010 in Mexico and am selling my Reese! Where you from? I am 5'6" and wore 4" heels. I bought my dress in UK size 12, however, was altered slightly at the top as i am a 10 on top and 12 on bottom. However, it can obviously be altered again to fit a smaller frame! Only a couple of cm trimmed off the bottom. Has been cleaned. Would like £450 ONO for it and would also want you to pay any packaging costs.  Have lots of pics etc, so if you are interested, please get in touch and I can email you some. Marie.x
  19. Congratulations! Welcome to the forum. xx
