  1. I was thinking of the same thing but since getting married in Nassau off the cruise ship seems impossible (you have to be in Nassau for 24 hrs before you can apply for marriage license), I want to have a 'fake wedding' in Nassau with cocktails then get married legally on the ship after the sun is down. Has anyone heard of this, or having the Captain marry you later in the day?

We are staying at the Iberostar Laguna Azul. Once a person puts down their $200 deposit, their rate is secured. We put down the initial deposit of $2000 ($200 each for 10 people) to secure our group rate. Once a person puts down their deposit, the rate will not change. In our case, people who are not putting down deposits right now (some waiting a few months) will be subject to any price changes made. We have our trip booked, wedding date secured with the resort and we have also just received tentative flight times. We used Breakaway Travel in Oshawa, Ontario. Hi off topic here but wondering how you decided upon the Ibero Laguna Azul? It's one of my options for price but can't find much info/pictures on it. Thanks!
  3. Hi, I'm planning on doing my wedding around that week in Varadero. The Melia Varadero is on my short list. I would be interested in sharing a photographer with you. Do you have one in mind?
