I know this is kindof a random question, but I am trying to figure out how much cash vs travelors checks to take and how much can be covered on credit card..... are all the wedding expenses (flowers, reception, hair appointment, etc) through the hotel payable by credit card in american dollars?

Did any of you schedule a "rehearsal" the day before with the wedding party? Back when Reyna was still answering e-mails she said she would set something up, but that the officiant wouldn't be there..... I'm just curious if there was really any benefit to it since the person overseeing the ceremony wouldn't be there. Any opinions?

FutureBotter, What is the "wedding details" that you are supposed to send back to them? I haven't seen anything like that from them and my wedding is on 7/6. Did anyone else get something they are supposed to send in about wedding details? Now I am starting to think they have completely forgotten about me ; )

Have any of you recent brides had any regrets with the DJ? I want to make sure that certain music gets played..... so right now we are putting everything on an Ipod and plan to be pretty much self-dj. But now I am wondering if it will end up being a waste of time.

I am late to join, but I have been reading over these pages and want to say thanks for all the valuable information. Especially everything related to the re-opening plans! I feel more in the loop now. I am getting married July 6th at del Mar. Has anyone organized a fun group event that didn't cost an arm and a leg? I would like to plan and host a group event for all of my guests. There will be about 40 of us altogether.
