  1. Thanks Jamie (or Martin) ... I apprecaite the words of support and the advice. I am also wondering if they'll require a vaccination by the time we go (Departing 5/23). If they do, that will alleviate any concerns that I might have from a health risk perspective. Thanks again! Hope you have a wonderful wedding!
  2. Hi all, I am new to this site and my girlfriend and I are actually not getting married at this time. However, I am interested in hearing other folks' take on traveling to Mexico given the recent flu outbreak. Taking into account what I have read and have heard in speaking to several individuals within the travel industry, I am not planning to cancel my trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico at this time. My primary concern is not that we will catch the flu, but whether or not the resort that we're staying at will be fully functioning and fully staffed; which I have been told that it will be. I believe that living in AZ puts me greater jeopardy of catching the flu than traveling the PV which is nearly 1200 miles away from the outbreak area. Given that travel within Mexico is relatively rare, travelling to PV might be safer than going to NYC. I'm a little disappointed that mass hysteria will likely mean that the resort is less crowded than normal (and I enjoy socializing), but on the other hand it may be more peaceful it it less crowded. Either way we're jacked about going! Your thoughts are greatly appreciated!
