Thanks so much for your responses!! Foxytv - Did you see a big difference between PPC and PPR? Was PPR worth the extra money? I have already read some of the more recent posts for these resorts, but I will definitely take some time to explore the older posts as well. Jennierin - You're saying it is possible that some people may need to pay $190 to cover day and evening if the wedding spans before and after 6pm? For that price, they may be better off to just stay at PPR! I will check into resort prices at Melia and 1 day passes at PPR.

Hi! Can anyone tell me any major differences between these resorts and if these resorts are located on the same grounds or next door to each other? PPR has my preferred wedding date available, but I am concerned it may be too expensive for some of my guests. PPC is a better price for guests but does not have my date available. Both look absolutely beautiful! If they are not next to each other, any suggestions for more affordable option for guests near PPR? Thanks!

I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only one! I'm also feeling a little clueless and lost in this process. I'm pretty sure I want to have our wedding in the DR, but I'm still waiting on resort, wedding package, and travel info. I have emails out and I'm working with a TA, but no info yet. What made you decide on one resort over another? Price? Coordinators? Packages? Has anyone had any particularly great or terrible experiences with any of these resorts and the planning process?
