She e-mails me sometimes when she thinks of something I might want to know and today she just e-mailed me pictures of the new beach there without me even asking. She always responds within 24 hours sometimes quicker. I know I shouldn't choose a resort based on who the coordinator is but I know at the Marriott I would get taken care of and I wonder with dreams with so many other weddings going on I know she is more busy so it's harder to get information. Thoughts? Very hard to get in touch w. them... BUT AMAZING in person. I would still email your requests so they have them on file. As the dates get closer, im sure they look over ur file because when i got there, she pretty much had eveything down what i wanted... Im telling you- you will make changes even when you get there! Cecilia is awesome. I also called her a few times- that helped a lot. Many general questions u can get answers on here though and I realized that after I bombarded her w. questions. Yes, dreams has a lot of weddings going on, but thats because they are the BEST! they really do know what they r doing, they do so many weddings! Hope this helps.!

I brought a few extra though because they came in packs of 10. Did you find my link w the site? Im still amazed at the price, and they even have other stuff like table sashes etc. Tons of colors.

I completely understand what you are saying and I know its stressful.... especially when your date starts to get closer and closer! Good luck to you and I hope everything goes exactly how you plan! Im sure it will!

We have family coming from three different countries and I really want them, and us, to understand the vows. Also, do they have you sign the certificate even if it was a symbolic wedding? We're getting married here first. Thanks for all the help!! If you want to have your own and are worried about the reading, I would maybe ask your WC for someone who is proficient in English? Yes, you sign a certificate during the symbolic ceremony after the sand ceremony but the certificate is just more of a suvenior (SPelling?) - we got married at home first too.

We had our chairbows that we brought ourselves and the centerpieces. We had a long table because we only had 14 guests and we sat at the center. I loved this site.

Very frustrating!! It had been 3 to 4 weeks since I sent that info and still no reply even after I emailed her 3 weeks ago to see if she got the info and when the deposit would be taken out no reply!!!!!! So I know how it is very frustrating to communicate with them. I am praying that when my wedding is in Febuary that everything will go smoothly. Anyone else had a problem with giving a deposit? Fine I guess you don't want my money! Ladies.... I know it can be very frustrating, but I PROMISE you that everything will be fine. YES, it does take weeks for responses, and it annoying- but when you get there, you will see how together everything is. THey keep all of your emails together and basically you can make ANY changes you need to when you get there. We met w. Cecilia when we got there and did pretty much everything there. I stressed for months prior and worried for nothing.

I never asked for it but you can always give it a shot!

Thanks and congratulations once again, Tori Here is the link to the sashes... check em out! they also came in a few days! They also have table sashes and other stuff to match. Thanks and congratulations once again, Tori Thank you! I still want to go back and do it all again! I got the chairbows search wedding linens direct. they were so cheap! I brought them with me and actually had extra bows. They came in packs of 10 so I had 20 down there. We only had 14 guests so we had some extras. Cecilia took it upon herself to take the extras and put them around the gazebo and also tie them on the posts during the reception. She also did move them from the gazebo to the ceremony location! It was perfectly done!

The photographer that comes w. the package was there before the ceremony, during the ceremony of course, and about an hour after. They never seemed as though they were rushing us at all... If you want them to come early before and take pics while you are getting ready, i think you can request a price from them.

If I don't use them, Cecilia said she could only give me 2 hours of the sound system instead and I'm not totally sold on that deal. Thanks!! Congrats to all the Dreams brides on this forum! Everyone will hear him fine! They are great!

I am REALLY excited for you!!! I am a shelter Volunteer and I love all of the dogs & cats there. It's a heartbreaking situtation, but the happiest of times is when they get adopted. So good for you and I wish you lots of luck! I just cant say enough about Dreams and I still want to be back there right now! haha. aw thanks! I actually have our lil guy right next to me now! He came home yesterday. I am a teacher and would like to consider volunteering at a shelter on my summers off. Its so sad to see and hear about these poor helpless animals lives- but you are right- so awesome when they get a chance to a new life.

I know it's super taboo but I really want to enjoy cocktail hour with the guests since we will have the mariachi trio as well. I hope I won't melt. I don't know how you ladies did it. You both don't look like you broke a sweat...lol! Every month is hot, but August is SUPER HOT. My hubby had a towel w. him and was constantly wiping mine and my moh's sweat! lol. Thank you! My mom has both yorkie and shih tsu- the yorkie used to be mine but I left it w. her when I moved- I didnt want her to leave her sister the shih tsu! I miss having a dog and cant wait to hopefully bring him home:)

Thank you! and congrats on also choosing dreams. You will NOT be disappointed. We paid $350 for the cd. I think the cost depends on how many pictures they take? Im not sure. Also, Juan emailed me a letter stating that I do have the copyright rights to do whatever I want w. them, but I have not gone to have any printed yet. Im hoping the letter works, although it is just a word document with no signature or letterhead or anything? Weve been so darn busy since we got back, I have not had time to choose the extra pics I want to print, so many to choose from!

It helped me so much and I hope that I can also help people now too! Yeah - I shouldnt complain because we were in scorching hot mexico and we had nonstop sun everyday we were there! So, we were lucky! I noticed that you have something on your signature about adopting animals... we are in the process of rescuing a shih tzu, we have the home visit sat! I hope we get the lil guy! :0)

  22. also, we got our video in the mail yesterday and we love it! I recommend that you get the video that comes w. the Dreams package!

Any suggestions? hmm... I know they have given extra people at dinner instead of cocktail hour, but im not sure about salon services because its the spa so its different department (not sure if that makes sense or not) Maybe she meant that she could not do extra people AND SALON SERVICES, that she would only be abe to do extra people at dinner and gazebo decor/centerpieces? Does that make sense?! I would just keep trying! It could have been that she was going to do it for me because I previously had a different coordinator that stated that she would do that, but she was no longer w. dreams so maybe she was doing stuff she was not supposed to, yet Cecilia had to allow for what the old coordinator had said. I ended up not needing the extra people though, because I had less guests than expected.

We had our reception on the terrace and there is a bar right inside the lobby w. couches and place to hang out. SO while we were taking pics, our guests hung out there. She said we could swap for extra guests for dinner, but we did not have over 20 people, so we just swapped for 1 hr extra reception and extra fowers. Make sure to email her about this first to update to your contract! Glad this helped! Good luck! Your wedding will be amazing!
