I know this is so confusing!!! It seems like everything they are telling us keeps changing!!! That was the only reason I was going with the Caribbean Package too!! So I guess now I am doing the Tropical!! *Petals* We will be in Jamaica the same week!! IF I book, my wedding date is May 25, 2009!!! I hope to confirm tomorrow w/ Jascynthia and book my travel w/ my TA asap!!! I can't wait to be done with this planning!....it's so stressful!!!

Hi - I'm geting married @ the Grand Palladium and am looking for a photographer. The resort is new so I am a little nervous about using the resort photographer. Does anyone know of one outside the resort? Or has anyone used the Grand Palladium Photographers? Thanks!!!

Hi girls - So I still have not received an email back from Jascynthia, but she did email my travel agent......and this is what she said: The Caribbean Package includes up to 8 persons (including the bride and groom). Any additional person who attends the wedding attracts a cost of US$50 ea. This will provide additional chairs, chair covers, champagne and cake. (To cover everyone). For dinner, you have a choice of the menus that are included in this package. (The ones that say “Caribbean Pkg” on top). Once you have chosen the menu you prefer, we will book the entire group that attended the ceremony and paid the per person charge, in one of the a la carte restaurants and serve the chosen menu. This booking will not be private as the a la carte restaurant will have others dining (only the menu is special in this case). If you do not want to dine with other guests you may pay USD300.00 and we will guarantee privacy in one of the restaurants (only your group will dine there). For the tropical package, it includes up to 8 persons (including the bride and the groom). Any additional person who attend the wedding will attract a cost of US30.00 per person. This will provide additional chairs and coves , champagne and cake for everbody. For dinner, we will book your group in one of our ala carte restaurants. They will choose from the regular restaurant menu, one of each course which is then used to make a set menu for the wedding group. The restaurant will also have other diners. If privacy is required you pay the USd300.00 venue fee. For the romance package, it includes up to 8 persons (including the bride and the groom). Any additional person who attend the wedding will attract a cost of US40.00 per person. This will provide additional chairs and coves , champagne and cake for everbody. For dinner, we will book your group in one of our ala carte restaurants. Thank you all for the info!! You all are great!!! I still have not heard back from Jascynthia!!! I really would like to book at this resort but I am having second thoughts. What are you girls using for ceremony music I wanted to do a steel drum band or something like that but Jascynthia said you would have to pay for 1hour and the cermony will only be 15 minutes. And the reception is 2 hours later. Thanks!!!

I am trying to book my wedding at the GP Lady Hamilton but I am having a hard time communicating with the Wedding Coordinator, Jascynthia. Can anyone help me understand the wedding packages? Can you do the Romance or Tropical and rent the Blue Lagoon for a private dinner reception Also is anyone doing a cocktail hour in between the ceremony and reception? Hi - I am trying to book a dw in May 2009- still deciding on a resort!!!! ~*Petals*~ I am thinking of Grand Palladium Jamaica and May 23 is the date I wanted but just found out they only have 10 or 12:00 left for times so I am thinking May 22 or May 25. I would love to hear how your experience is going w/ the wed cord at the resort.
