I love this debate and IMO it is smart to get married here for legal reasons. I dont want to worry about anything like that when in mexico !!! Thanks for all the opinions ladies

So past, present and future brides lets combine some info. What is a DO, DON'T and a MUST for a DREAMS CANCUN WEDDING?

I would love to hear what everyone would do different or change so we can all use it to plan the perfect day.

Hi and welcome.

I am too currently leaning towards a cruise wedding but while in port. I had attended a wedding on a cruiseship for a friend, sorry I thought it was tacky it took place in a library and the pics were awfula nd for the 3K it costs she got almost nothing. I think we may get married while docked in Port Canaveral on Cocoa Beach there is a ton of wedding planners that take care of everything for you including filing your marriage license. I found that the out of the country marriage is quite complicated and expensive we are porting out of Baltimore and our first stop is in FL for 12 hours so its plenty of time to take the plunge LOL. I adore the DR its more quaint than Mexico and less touristy. Its getting more popular but its still inexpensive compared to other options. Good Luck with your planning!

Hi Amanda Florida is still one of my top choices we might take a cruise that stops in Port Canaveral and get married on Cocoa beach then hop back on the ship with our family and friends for a week long reception

It would drive me crazy knowing he has the ring I would think he was going to propose everytime we went to dinner LOL. I had been on this forum months before I got my official proposal so its ok to see whats in store for you and get ideas.
