  1. ok sounds good- yes i think i just came across that thread today actually, thanks. Also so those who have more than 40 people (i think that was the cap on the gazebo), do you have your ceremony at the beach instead im just really concerned about how many people are going to show up bc many people have told me they want to come already and i havent even set a date yet! ah!
  2. oh my! so much to consider! Hi im sam...newbie on the forum, but have spent countless hours the past few days reading numerous threads of many resorts. Im definately considering DPA but with all these separate charges for everything its making my head hurt! It seems really hard to keep the budget down especially if youre going to have about 50 or so people which i think is gonna be my turnout! And no, no banquet hall for me either! Can some of you tell me why you chose DPA though because I know that many of you have mentioned that you were DT brides before. I understand the closing posed a problem for some, but besides that why did you decide DPA instead? because the prices seem basically the same btwn the two resorts to me. any insight to help me decide where to lock down my decision would be great! thanks!
  3. Hey everyone ! My name is Sam and planning our wedding for October 2009. I havent decided where however and am torn where to do it! Im looking for riviera maya/tulum area and have been highly considering Barcelo maya Palace and Dreams Tulum right now....though still not solid on either one yet. Anyone able to help or offer other suggestions? ive been reading the forum for hours on lots of info but still torn! Im just not sure where a better bet is! My criteria are: ceremony on the beach, reception on the beach, and still somewhat affordable for us to pay for this at about 50 people attending the ceremony/reception. Any suggestions would be awesome! Thanks and so excited to be a part of the forum.
