  1. Keep in mind that all of your guests may not book through the TA you chose. I have had a couple of relatives contact their own. -- good point, I hadn't actually thought of that... but it's also likely since some of the invitees will be out of province/out of the country. so if I have the rsvp say something along the lines of: "the favour of your reply is requested by Jan ##, 2009 (or whenever). M.___________________ __will attend __ will not attend *please ensure you make the appropriate arrangements with TA by the stated date.. Is that right? anyone think of better ways to word this?
  2. Hi there, Just wondering whether it is necessary to send out rsvp with the invitation even though we need everyone to contact the travel agent to pay their deposits and hold their place? I'm concerned if we send out the RSVP, it will be redundant, and if we don't, I worry people will think I've forgotten to attach it. I want to order my invite, and an "information" page with the travel agent's contact info. and pricing, so just the two pages in the envelope? Does that make sense? Also, I tried looking through the threads, but wasn't able to find anything related... but has anyone used weddingpaperdivas.com, for their invites? They seem to be a reasonable option.... Any help is appreciated!
  3. I'm planning to send only the invite and have a second page with the details re: booking attached.. I'm not having a personal wedding website though, and I also figure more people are going to research the resort on their own/not care and just book.. am I delusional? lol My intention is to make a newsletter to put in the OOT bags which details the daily activities and the schedule of things we plan for the group (excursions/etc.). Hope that helps.
  4. I just posted in the newbie forum and wanted to post here too. I'm an imposter DT bride for the time being, while we await the final details from the TA (I have my heart set though, so *fingers crossed* I'll be a DT bride-to-be by the end of the week!! We're hoping for the first week of May (2nd-9th). According to the things I've read, the earliest I can be married there is May 7th (thursday), which, coincidentally, is my 27th birthday. The 8th would work too. Still have to book though, and noticed there is a May 7th on this forum so I'm not sure.
