Hi there, Our wedding is June 09. We are also staying at the Occidental Grand and getting married at Isla de Pasion. It's a small man made island right off of Cozumel (5 minute boat ride) where they allegedly shoot the Corona commercials. It's beautiful, secluded, unique, affordable and intimate in that we will have the whole island to ourselves. The planner that we are working with on the Island, Meliza, is awesome! Does anyone have any suggestions/referrals to any great wedding planners in Cozumel. We aren't sure if we want to do a resort wedding and want to explore some more creative options with a local expert. Thanks in advance for your help! D

Hi there, So, we found the perfect hotel for us to have our wedding! The Cozumel Presidente Intercontinental....however, bmy experience with the onsite planner has been really disappointing. Basically, I have had to micro-manager her every step of the way so far. And, we haven't event signed the contract yet. I'm contemplating calling the manager and insisting that they assign me a new coordinator, although I'm pretty sure she's the one. What do I do? I really like the site...I'm just worried about having to deal with an incompetent wedding coordinater for the next year and then having something go wrong on wedding day. Help please! DB
