I'm trying to get some dates for the Excellence Riviera Cancun and nobody will respond to my emails. I sent them to the address on their wedding website. Does anybody have more direct contact info? Thanks.

I was just looking over the packages... The silver package states,"Decoration of wedding location including wooden plank aisle runner, chairs for 12 people and table with white linen".... So everything else costs extra? Like the gazebo or archway? I guess I assumed those were included since I always see them in pics..

I was just told to check out the new Azul Sensatori. Does this satisfy all the requirements? I see it's brand new which is nice.

Looking at the wedding packages, they are all based on 8 people. Are you just adding to a package? We just want a ceremony with some sort of dinner/cocktail hour reception. I guess if we're expecting 30 to 40 people it's going to add up.

We need an All Inclusive that doesn't need reservations for the meals. I don't want to deal with having to plan out where i want to eat for the week. I want my guests to be able to decide that night and go where they want to. So far, I've found the Valentin, Excellence Cancun, and Secrets as those with no reservations needed. Any more? Thanks.

I'm interested in the Valentin. We want to have our DW there, but we are having the hardest time working with their WC.

So we might have to go away from using the Valentin because we can't seem to get any cooperation from their wedding people. I want something in writing saying that we have a set time and date. I've heard stories where wedding's have been moved up in time or even a day and that just doesn't seem right. We are still hoping to get the Valentin worked out, but we're looking towards the Excellence and Secrets as well. Does anybody have strong opinions for any of these. I know there are huge threads dedicated to ERM and SC, but I figured I'd throw this into a new thread to catch some eyes. Thanks for any and all info. Hi so I was told by the Valentin that I had June 5th, 6 pm locked in for my wedding, but now they are coming back with, "Another wedding is already planned at 5:30 so the 6 pm slot won't work". Did anything like this happen with anybody? Also now they are asking for an $800 deposit to reserve my time slot. This is making me worried that something else might change down the road.

MBMAVERICK, I got a response from Guadalupe by using [email protected] . She is suppose to be in contact with my TA now, but we will see.

Ok so I decided to just go ahead and try to contact the Valentin today by email. I emailed [email protected] , which is on their wedding page. Within 20 minutes I had a reply from Guadalupe Arroyo. She mentioned to me that they were having trouble with the email system. She took down my Travel Agent's information and she told me she would give my TA a call. We'll see where it goes from here.

Soon2BePowers.... Are you using a TA? My TA can't seem to get anybody at the Valentin to respond to her emails or phone calls. Any suggestions?

Well we are still not getting any response from the Valentin. Not even a quick email saying "we are booked up" or anything like that. I just can't see why my TA can't get any response at all. Obviously we aren't going to book rooms without a date set. Guess I'll look elsewhere and stop wasting my time...
