  1. OH, I just read a few more posts. When I asked about guests staying at other hotels visiting for the wedding. I was originally told I have to pay $200. I just told the girl no, I wasn't paying that and if it was a probably then I wouln't select there resort. In the end, we didn't pay a dime nor did they ever question anyone. No one walks around the resort with wristbands or anything so they don't know. Our total cost for a 50 person brunch with mimosas and a 10 day all inclusive stay was $10K. When I added my flowers and such it was a total of $15K. You really don't need any extra flowers beyond the bouquet and boutineers (sp?) because the locations are sooo beautiful. My pictures looked as if we were cut/paste into a fake background because they were so awesome. If anyone is really interested in this location I can dig up my pictures and show them. The photographer was pricey but I paid for 36 pictures and was completely happy. Luckily my brother was a film major in college so he videotaped it for me. Oh the other great things was. We would go to dinner and take mayb 20 people and put the cost all on 1 room. Well, everyone staying in that room (2) people had an all inclusive plan so the dinner for 20 people was totally free. We also would order loads of room service to a reoom with all inclusive plans and it was free. Our meals covered all restaurants and drinks, including the minibar.
  2. I was married at the Half Moon in 2004. It's a WONDERFUL resort. The wedding coordinator drove me crazy because she didn't move fast enough while trying to set up the wedding from the US. This required patience from me. I had to recall their culture is different and their famous motto is "No Problem...No worries". Once I was able to relax, I was fine. But when I arrived everything was exactly as I wanted. They were great and very flexible. My coordinator's name was Racquel. I selected the flowers when I arrived as the garden is on the property. My sister was supposed to do my hair but do to hurricanes she could not fly out of Florida. I had my hair done on the property in their salon and I was completely happy. We stayed 10 days and never needed to leave the property for anything. Unless we chose to participate in particular excursion. It is slightly pricey but well worth every penny. I gave my guests that weren't able to afford the hotel 2 other price options at different hotels. Half Moon said they had all these rules for guests to visit the property but nothing was every an issue.
