    Maegan - Let me know what you find. We are also thinking about hosting our wedding at a villa. I have seen a few in the Playacar Phase 1 development, which is still walking distance to downtown. Thanks!!

    We are in the early stages of planning our wedding in Playa del Carmen. We do not want it in an AI, so I have been in contact with most of the wedding coordinators listed on this site. I am thinking of going with Yazmin de la Mora. She has been very responsive and not pushy at all. Plus her fees seem very reasonable. My question is do I need a wedding coordinator to help with the reception as well or is it safe to use the event coordinator at one of the restaurants or beach clubs downtown? Any advice you could would be helpful!! Thanks!

    Hi there! My fiance and I are in the beginning stages of our March 2009 wedding in Playa del Carmen. We are looking at doing it on the beach with our reception in one of the beach clubs or restaurants downtown. We are looking forward to learning a ton on this site!!
