I am on a real tight budget most resort are too high but if you got a good deal i would love to hear of it. Oyah i just got email that they are willing to do my date but that it will be bit crowed I am not going to say no till i find something else... but i am so MAD!!! Try the Melia Cancun next door. The cost would likely be about the same as the Condessa. Lorito Joe's Restaurant is not to far away and could likely handle a group that size.

In fact fewer and fewer spring breakers are going to Cancun. If you are headed to the area next year, do a Google search on Spring Break 2009. That should get you to a website that lists College and Unversities Spring Break schedule. Then skip the summer break (high school seniors) the last couple of weeks in May and first couple in June and you'll be just fine. Cancun is busy during winter and July-August. As to beach conditions, that is very tough to say because it depends on Mother Nature. The southern 3rd of Cancun Island is still quite nice. Some places along the Riviera Maya have nice beach, some don't. Generally speaking, the Akumal-Tulum area is quite nice.

  5. Hola Gen. Hope your trip goes well. Just my opinion, but you are already at one of the finest hotels in Latin America. Nicer beach too. Tim

    Hola!

Okay, so what's an old batchelor like me doing on this forum? Well, I've been to Cancun 20-25 times so have some expertise in the area. And I am subscribed to Google Cancun Alerts. I have noticed Lots of interest in Dreams Cancun as a wedding location!! I would like to let folks here know that my friend Susan wrote a Wonderful trip report about Dreams Cancun!! Including her Dolphin Swim!!! You can find that by searching cancunblog.info I think she can even help with reservations for the swim. She lives in Cancun now so she is a good resource for folks. I also wanted to let people know who are going to Cancun and the Riviera Maya that the maps & guides at cancunmap.com are Great!! Really the only guides you need to get before you head down. How come I don't see much interest in the Ritz, Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach, and Fiesta Americana Grand Aqua?? Tim
