I recommend the private island at the Renaissance.

I'm getting into this discussion a bit late - but here my 2¢
Yes, some photographers use an IR camera
No - hardly anyone uses those on the lens filters anymore
Most of those images looked like they have been heavily Photoshopped using TRA actions.
But...
When shooting outdoors, in full sun, on the beach, traditional Photojournalistic techniques don't always work. What I'm talking about is that magazine style look where the background is blurry, and the subjects are sharp and in focus. That is accomplished using a big aperture (f1.2, f1.8, f2.. What this does is lets in a ton of light to the camera. In bright conditions - like a beach this means the sky and surf are blown out, or at least the colors are washed out. Many photographers turn to the actions to hide these defects (and make the image more dramatic).
If this is the case, the colors aren't recorded in the camera, and even the original digital negatives won't be much help - as I suspect is the case.
Feel free to PM me and PLEASE keep us posted! Hope it all works out for you.

do you have a link to your gallery? I know everyone wants to see them now.

REally, how many pics do you think she will be in? Probably only a few.
Talk with your photog, and express your concern - I know from experience that it is very difficult to remove them in Photoshop.

Sit back and surf the web! (I'm sure someone else will have something for you to do.)

What a great find! Do you know where you are going to do the shoot?

Venice is absolutely incredible in the Fall (I was there 2 Septembers ago). Are you having a traditional Italian wedding, or American style?

Crest WhiteStrips. I've heard that the teeth whitening stores (I won't mention names) don't do any better, and just cost $$$ more.

Love your Gown. I was at a wedding where the bride wore a similar one. I'm sure you looked amazing.

Aruba os simply beautiful that time of year! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

As a guy, I'm gonna say no - you probably aren't engaged.
Who has he told? His parents? His buddies? His co-workers Is he happy? I know I was on cloud 9 after I proposed.
As a wedding professional, it's pretty clear to me who is engaged, vs who wants to have a wedding, if you know what I mean.

I've been to Cuba. And I'm an American Citizen.
It was possible before, and then one of our former presidents tightened restrictions. The current president has only just rolled back the restrictions to what they were 8 years ago.
Cuba is a magical, amazing place. The rest of the world can easily and freely visit, but for most Americans, it is nearly impossible.
I don't feel comfortable posting info about traveling to Cuba on such a public thread, but if you are interested in a legal way, Feel free to contact me directly.
Cheers,
E

Those are the most unique invitations I've seen in a very long time.

How could I not think those are a great idea!

Have you ever tried a FOOD DIARY? Write down everything you eat, and at what time.
I 2nd the lots of water - 8-10 glasses a day!
-
I drink 1-2 cups per day - Sometimes I treat myself to an expresso after lunch.
By far and away my favorite coffee is Peet's - I have several pounds sent to me at a time, so I never run out.

Hi,
From a photographer's perspective, I wouldn't go with the orange shirt, or the white shirt, with a white linen suit. I think the blue shirt would be best.
I don't think the Orange Tie will go, either.
Orange is such a strong color, it makes a great accent, but is too much, (IMHO) for a big piece. It's OK for the groomsmen to have Orange shirts, because they aren't the center of attention.
Let's see some photos to be sure!

What a great review. Let us know when the photos are ready!

I think the budget is the #1 concern for people when having a destination wedding.
Let me see if I get this right - If you don't have enough people, you won't get the deal you want, and if too many people come, the costs balloon out of control.
Maybe you could send out invitations in groups, and have a short RSVP date, or have the resort contact you when somebody books a room. Then if not enough people make reservations, you send out a second group of invites. People don't have to know that you are doing this, either. So feelings won't be hurt.

Sometimes it isn't worth it to book airfare too far out in advance. I know some guests want to get their tickets out of the way, but I've been to weddings where some of the "Early Adopters" paid twice what people who waited did.
A cute Google commercial about Destination Weddings
