Hello all, my name is Shawn Richter and I'm a Professional Photographer located in beautiful San Diego California. I actually found this forum because someone here posted a link to an article that I wrote and posted on our website regarding the cost of photography and the amount of time that goes into shooting a session or wedding.
We actually don't shoot a ton of weddings, just 5-10 a year, but we've been talking about getting out of doing the "big" weddings and focusing more on small, low-key destination type weddings (I just shot one on Saturday, check our blog for some photos).
