  1. I am so glad I found this thread...I thought that my fiancee was the only one that wanted to start trying before the wedding! I'm a bit torn because I also want to enjoy a bit of bubbly at the wedding and not have to worry. I may not get pregnant right away, but I don't think I want to take the chance. We'll see.... for now I'm still convincing him to keep things safe...
  2. Wow, thanks for the quick help to all of you!! I'll have to take a look at the websites you listed/provided when I get home tonight. So far the options look very promising.
  3. I am exactly three months away from the wedding and I can't find the shoes that I'm looking for,so I thought that I would see if anyone could help me. I am looking for a pair of peep-toe silver heels. I'd prefer if it had some sort of rhinestone circle or something at the front, but not required. Has anyone seen shoes out there similar to what I'm looking for??
  4. I am also considering using the violinist. Have any of the DT brides on this forum used the violinist already? If so, how was he or she?
  5. I liked them both, but I voted for the amsale because it is gorgeous! If you want classic, go with the Pronoivas... I do agree with a few others here and say wear one for the ceremony and the other for the reception!

That is where I am potentially thinking of having our dinner...so you recommend the spot? I was concerned about how much privacy you would have there, especially because it looks like there is a hot tub right next to the spot where they set-up the table. Also, I wanted to have some candles on the table...maybe little tea lights. Do you think that they would even stay on or would wind be an issue?
  7. Can't remember who it was, but someone recently asked for Captain Rick's contact info...here you go. Puerto Aventuras Fishing, Playa del Carmen Fishing

Unfortunately I don't have enough points to open the attachment....is there a quick way to rack up some points so that I could open the attachment?
  9. Thanks for the info Neen. Could you elaborate more on the ballroom terrace/patio you mentioned? Would you happen to have any pics? How many people would fit there? etc. My fiancee and all the guys are doing a fishing day with Capt Rick's as well. The best man was in the Mayan Riviera this past spring and went on Capt. Rick's and he said it was one of the best fishing expeditions he's been on. The size of boat depends on how may people will be going.

  12. I also just received a new wedding guide from Sandra - new pictures have been included and the guide seems to be a little more informative. Hope this info helps everyone. WEDDING INFO 2008-2009.pdf
  13. Hi Everyone, I have been extremely busy with work and a few other commitments so I haven't been able to post anything (although I have checked in once in a while to see what's going on). I thought that I'd share some correspondence I just received from DT...kind of interesting. I should also mention that I replied to Sandra's email with a question I had and she responded within 10 minutes. Perhaps this will make a lot of you feel better, knowing that they are trying to be on top of responses.

Oh, and I should note that we are having a legal ceremony and still no problem with being there less than 4 business days.

  17. Hi Everyone, I am finally a new member on this site. I've been on for the last four weeks as a non-member...for some reason I always got errors when trying to register. Anyway, looking forward to finally being able to correspond with everyone. I actually just found out some horrible news - apparently the resort is sold out for the week of the wedding and I still have ten people that haven't booked and are defintely planning on going!!! One of them is my brother, our best man and one of my bridesmaids!! We are quite worried but hoping that my TA could try and pull some strings I also wanted to let you know that Sandra sent me some pictures from the inside of the new convention center so as soon as I figure out how to send pictures, I will do so.
  18. Hi everyone, My name is Sandra and I am getting at Dreams Tulum on December 30, 2008. Looking forward to getting some ideas and advice through this forum!
