We just visited St Martin for the first time and fell in love! I was near Sonesto... Very close to the airport... Like we walked from there to the airport. That being said the landing strip is right on the water and a huge attraction. I feel like it would be an easy place to host a wedding. English speaking, no need to exchange American $, awesome food, you can drink the water....

Sarah, the food is all great. I think we had the mini sliders, some kind of quesadilla and pot sticker? I can't even remember but the food at PF is fantastic! Guest still talk about it. Your WC can give you hints as to what's popular... and you could prob try a few during your wrap session. Good luck!

We booked through Lindsay... it was chartered but local guys that were great. PF does a good job of finding reliable/reasonable vendors! The guys went Wednesday morning... so second day. I think they wished it were the 3rd day but that was spa day. See if you can get it switched to that! Many of the guys were hung over from the welcome dinner festivities. Even the light drinkers- different climate, first day of vacay, etc. It happens:)

You can easily do the poker tourney/spa day on the same day bc not everyone will play. I played cards for a little bit... but then decided I'd like to be in the sun more!

Sounds like you girls are doing awesome! We did the texas hold'em tourney too- Adam is a really good teacher. And the guys went fishing. They liked it, they said it was fun seeing the whales, etc too but it is a long day so be prepared for that!

We didn't plan anything for the girls so we all lounged, had breakfast together, some went shopping, I went snorkling for a couple of hours and it was fun! Great not to be on a schedule.

That is very pretty bedding and is very neutral. You could go so many different ways, like painting the walls a color like greens, the right blues,  or keep the walls neutral and add pops of color somewhere. I'm not a pro, but good luck!

OMG I am just seeing this! Feeling much better. Had m/s that was pretty aweful for a month or two... but doing well now and almost 19 weeks!

We did the same as Jennie... brought some and went to walmart for snacks. I agree, they weren't what we were looking for but it worked out and everyone loved them.

I think you need to contact Adam via email for a code that opens the dates for weddings if I remember correctly. Depending on how soon you want to get married, you may need to be a little flexible.We ended up moving our date up a few weeks but it worked for us.

Welcome! We kept our STD's simple, but pointed them towards our website that had all of the information on it. Worked for us! Happy Planning.

Hi girls... I got married at Playa Fiesta in Puerto Vallarta. But I used Mishka from Mishka Designs for customized maracas, placecards, menus and she was fabulous to work with! And she gets back in a timely manner... especially for down there. That, to me, is invaluable when planning a DW. Good luck with planning! We are going to Sayulita in March for the first time and cannot wait!

I did not try the wedding cookies... I think it is a cute idea for a favour.

 

AS far as the meal times and not being a traditional all inclusive. This was a big source of stress for me... but it ended up not being an issue. Same as the room assignment situation: it'll all work out!

 

Magalie- Bill and i loved the tacos for 2 so much that Lindsay helped us get a platter so we can make them at home hahaha. Not quite the same... but great memories!
