  3. Pukalani Falls is a man-made waterfall on Captain Howie's home. It really isn't that big, but you can't tell in the pictures. The house is really beautiful and is built for his wedding business. I believe Angels Bay is what they named Waimanalo Bay. Excellent beach for a wedding, but it is not private and can get busy with other weddings. Howie's house in right across the street from the entrance to the beach. Many people use this company, and are very satisfied with what they get. But please note that there are more than one photographer and one of them just left. Great for small wedding parties, but it's not for everyone. If you're looking for a resort type wedding, this isn't it. But if you're looking for a short small intimate ceremony only wedding, than this might be for you. If you have any questions, let me know and I'll be happy to help!

  5. Tony So from The DJ Hawaii DJ's are very important and sometimes over looked. I've been to a lot of weddings, and great DJ's can rock a crowd from 10 people to 500 people. I think it really comes down to knowing your clients and playing the right music to get everyone up and dancing. Tony is great at this and is also highly recommended by most resorts and hotels here.
  6. Thanks everyone. Even though Hawaii is part of the United States, it's funny what kind of questions we get asked: Do we have running water? Do we still live in grass shacks and do those grass shacks have high speed internet? Hopefully I'll be able to answer any questions, and yes, our grass shacks do have high speed internet! Eddy
  7. Thanks everyone. Hope you all have a good week. Eddy
  8. Hi Everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself. I can't remember how I found this forum, but I'm glad that I did. Being a local here in Hawaii, I'm hoping that I can share my knowledge to anyone that needs it. Happily married and in the wedding business for the past 5 years, I know how difficult it is to plan a wedding. Especially a destination wedding! (Although the only thing that I was responsible for at my wedding was the slideshow. I've learned a lot since then!) Eddy Fong
