Welcome to the forum! Use a TA if you'd like to organize travel accommodations for you and your guests, but you'll end up having to work with the resort coordinator no matter if you hire a TA or not.

There is electricity, just no lights. Its all candle light. And in the bridal casita it would be a good idea to bring a power strip or two and maybe a small extension cord as there is only one outlet to share for everyone.

Glad you all enjoyed the photos! I'm always happy to answer questions about PV or Caletas if anyone wants to email me - regardless if I'm your photographer or not.

And, yeah, Megan! I can't wait for your wedding! We're going to get some amazing photos!

Hello beautiful Caletas brides! Just thought I'd stop in and say Hi again. You've all made an amazing choice for your wedding day as I'm sure you already know. I've been meaning to share some photos from my latest wedding at Las Caletas. I was once again in awe of what an incredible venue it is. I'm stoked to be shooting 3 more Caletas weddings in 2011 so far...
Â
Here is a slideshow of the wedding - there are tons of photos in the slideshow, so it takes a while to see them all...

Has anyone worked with Kelley on having the Groom and Groomsmen come over to the site BEFORE the boat to take pictures before the wedding? We're getting married in Oct 2011 (yay!) and are worried about how much lighting will be left after the ceremony, so wanted to see if anyone was able to work out another boat trip or solution with Kelley.
For every wedding I've shot there, the Groom and Groomsmen have come over early on a Panga in order to get photos before the ceremony. This has been HUGE in terms have a longer amount of time to take photos with the Bride and Groom. More time = more amazing photos! So, yes Kelley can easily arrange this - and I HIGHLY recommend it, as the light disappears quickly after the ceremony (depending on ceremony start time obviously).

Welcome to the forum, Melody! What an amazing wedding you'll have in Florence! There are usually only a couple of brides on here getting married in Italy, but you should look through some of the older posts in the Europe section to get some ideas. I've shot 2 weddings in Italy and both were incredible - so, I'm happy to help answer any planning questions you have. Enjoy planning!

How exciting to be getting married in Italy! I've shot weddings in Italy a couple of times. The first was in Positano on the Amalfi Coast and the 2nd was in Rome at the Hassler Hotel where Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and their guests stayed for their wedding at the Odescalchi Castle - I'm not sure if the Hassler has a space large enough for a 100 guest wedding, but it might be worth looking into as it is in a great view of Rome at the top of the spanish steps. I could also pass on the coordinator's info if you're interested. Here is a link to the Rome wedding:
