  1. Heidi and Regie, you have finally done it...best wishes to you both! Its been a shitty year in many ways for the two of you. You made it through the darkness and arrived at your dream of a beach wedding. Cherish every moment and know that this day was meant to be.

"Fairy tales can come true, it can happen to, if you're young at heart".

    Love you kids,

    Lizzy

  2. Dear Mo, please know that I am very sad this has happened. As the other ladies have said, it is very important that you take care of yourself. Grieve because it is natural and crucial, and hold your husband. You have us to talk with, but he may not feel comfortable talking with his friends about his feelings. Share your pain and disappointment with him. Your love for one another is the best way to get through this.

God bless and know that I will say a prayer tonight for you and Tim.

  3. You guys are so funny! I haven't gone away, just been very busy with work. Ann, thanks for posting it! Aren't they cute?

As to how this happened...Maggie got a phone call from the journalist. She introduceced herself and said that she had been hearing about them (M&T) and understood that they were an "up and coming entrpenuerial (sp) couple in the Twin Cities". Whatever. So they talked and the journalist asked to do a shoot at Excellsior Park in Minnetonka (part of MPLS), in the summer and then more photos after the wedding, then write the article. It appeared in the South Minneapolis Magazine and in the Edina Magazine. They are basically the same story with some different photos. I will try to post one more photo. It is of them in their home. If it is too big, Ann, please resize for me.

  4. You know what, I think it is time to have a little sit down with FI. There is so much planning to a destination wedding, the last stress you need is all of his side worrying more about finding some good weed and getting some action while at your wedding, than the fact that the two of you are about to become a married couple! I mean, I would not want to get caught in a foreign country, smoking an illegal substance, and getting thrown in jail! How old are these people? They can do that at home. With that being said, I would also remind DFI that this is about the two of you, not about him and his friends. Maybe the boys could have their nite out b4 you leave. I would be upset...but then, it is just my opinion, coming from a mom.

    Good luck honey.

  5. We stayed at Dreams Tulum and absolutely loved it

My daughter's welcome dinner and luncheon honoring the bridesmaids and her personal attendant were held there. Also the get to know one another cocktail party the night everyone arrived. We did not have the wedding there, however. She wanted something a little more private for that. All of our 54 guests are still raving about the resort and how they were treated.

I do not believe you will be disappointed!!!

  6. Thanks you guys. I do want to clarify that the lounge area was not the whole reception site. I will post more photos of the dinner set up and the decorations. It turned out to be nothing like I had posted for the tablescape. Maggie had very specific ideas of what she wanted and Jackie, from Ana Y Jose made it so! Jackie is going to be posting some photos of this wedding on her website: Tulum Weddings - The perfect wedding destination. -but I haven't checked to see if they are up yet.

And thanks for the compliments on Maggie, I think she is gorgeous too! Does that sound awful?

  7. Here are a few photos of the Ana Y Jose Beach Club. I wanted you all to see how lovely and private it is. They did a great job!

    More to come, soon...

This is a picture of the old grape tree. The cocktail hour took place under the tree. There were homemade tacos and empenadas and shrimp and margaritas and lots of yummy foods served
