    Hi Lisa, I'm not sure if you remember me. My name is Rachel and I got married a few days before you (at the Paradisus Punta Cana). I just received our marriage certificate in the mail. I'm a little confused. DMV (Dpt. of Motor Vehichles, social security, etc.) are not accepting out of the country marriage certificates for name changes. Therefore, I'm hearing that I have to go through this WHOLE process (and pay $210) to OFFICIALLY change my name (kind of what people go through during divorces). It sounds like a PAIN IN THE BUTT! Do you know anything about this? Thanks for any advice, Rachel

    Just got back from the Paradisus Punta Cana after doing a site visit. What a place! We loved it and can't wait for next April! Let me know if anyone is interested in that resort.

    It's confirmed! I'm getting married at the Paradisus Punta Cana on Thursday, April 17th 2008. I'm very excited! My cousin comes back today. She met with the Romance Coordinator and she took pictures. I haven't talked to her yet. I will figure out how to post those pictures once I can. The concern I have is we are inviting close to 200 people to our wedding. I'm not sure how many will attend, but this is a big number! Any suggestions?

    I'm waiting to hear whether the judge is booked for next April. He doesn't do his "Bookings" until the end of this month for next year. I would like to get married there.

    I noticed you said you would recommend the majestic colonial, paradisus palma real, and excellence punta cana, but why didn't you recommend the paradisus punta cana. I think that's where I'm getting married. Should I reconsider?

    Hi everyone! I'm trying to find an all inclusive resort that allows children. Also, I'm thinking of a off site location for the ceremony and reception to allow for some privacy. Nothing has been confirmed. I was thinking about Playa Del Carmen, St. Lucia, and a few others. Please help!
