For anyone getting married at Dreams...how early are you arriving before your wedding? It sounds like not much is planned until you arrive. I haven't booked, yet, and am concerened about that...

I am pretty new to this site and there may be a thread somewhere about this...but I was wondering how everyone was handling the legalities of getting married there? I've heard some people choose to legally marry at the JP before they go down there and then have the ceremony in Mexico and just not send in the certificate. What are everyone's thoughts on that? Do you know how long you have to be there to plan your wedding? I've read about having to be there on a Wed, having to do blood work, etc., but I am thinking I may not do all of that and just have the ceremony. I am wondering how many days the resort needs to put it all together. Any info you can provide would be wonderful! Thanks!!

I am so glad I found this site! It sounds like you guys have similar questions. I was wondering if you had made any decisions about a photographer. Have you heard how the one the resort offers is? I don't want to spend a large amount of $, but I really want some good pics!

Hello! I am just in the beginning stages of planning a destination wedding! I have stayed at Dreams Cancun and am thinking of planning it at Dreams Puerto Vallarta. I have so many questions, of course, so if anyone has been there to do get married, I'd love the input! I am really wondering if anyone has used their photographer that comes with the package.
