like others have said, don't worry!  we got engaged at the end of Sept 2006 and got married in early june 2007.  i don't think we decided on a venue until nov 2006.

honestly i'd keep on the store, maybe ask for a manager if you haven't yet spoken to one.  just ask if they don't have the original if they could get a replacement or something.  are they OBLGATED to?  i'm not sure, since you saw and bought the dress w/o the sash its usually an "as is" thing, right?  but i think they SHOULD get you a sash.

eek, if you think you can do it i'm sure you could save some $$.  but for me it wasn't about the $$ but more that the WC already has contacts down there, could possibly work out some deals because of these relationships, is local so they know the language and can get a hold of people easier, etc.  But also, who is going to run the show on the day of the wedding?  you don't want people to be bothering you with the details, ya know?

my guess is that most resorts don't use bottled beer or any glass just so it doesn't get to the beach or pool.  beyond that, i guess probably cans or those plastic cups.  to be honest, while my guests loved the koozies and still use them, they didn't use them much at the resort.  i suppose it was just another thing to keep track of?

i tried to think what photo i would have wanted from my wedding ... so i chose #8, it just shows a genuine celebration!

we don't either carly!  there's nothing on our walls.  sad.

i wonder if your WC would feel comfortable making a comment along the lines of "you seem to be taking over the planning for the bride!"  maybe she'll get the hint then?
