  1. Hi Leia, I accidentally deleted you message and cannot find you. I've already sold the Zoom Box. But, you can bid on one on EBay. I've seen them sell for as little as $175. Good Luck!

  4. Thanks for all your input everyone! I'm sorry it took so long to respond, my internet has been down :-( I've decided to use either Mypublisher or Shutterfly to make my In-Laws and album and to make a Honeymoon album. And for my actual coffee table book, I’m going to take Jean-Marcus up on his offer to make a less expensive professional one. It will take a while to get everything designed and printed, but I’ll share the results!

  7. My hubby and I did a slideshow at our welcome dinner. Our guests really enjoyed it and I was very happy that we decided to do this! Renting projectors in Cabo is pretty expensive so we opted to buy one instead. The ZoomBox is a combination DVD Player/Audio System/Projector. You burn your slideshow on DVD and plug the projector in and you instantly have a slideshow. This is great because all we needed to bring was an extension cord and the projector! Here are some reviews and product specs: Amazon.com: Zoombox DVD Entertainment Projector: Toys & Games We’ll take $135 + Shipping. Let me know if you have any questions!
  8. Hello Ladies! So I’ve decided to take on the daunting task of designing my own wedding album – Deep Breath- I’m having trouble finding what I want. I’m looking for a leather bound 10 X 10 flush album with THICK pages. I’ve found a few places that offer these albums to Photogs but the bare bones starter album starts at $360. You know me – Always trying to save a buck so I’ve been shopping around. $360 seems very high if I am designing it myself! So Question 1: Do any of you know how I can get a pro-style leather flush mount album with thick pages for cheap? Question 2: I’ve look into Shutterfly and Kodak and the photobooks are pretty affordable, BUT I’m scarred that I will not like how the end result will look. Has anyone used these for they’re wedding album? If so, did you like the results? Where the pages thick? Thanks!

We had ours come about an hour after dinner. They preformed a few songs and then taught a few songs. They also taught us the history of salsa. Everyone loved it. I used a couple named Susan and Armando. They are beautiful people. Here is her email if you are interested: [email protected]

Our photog captured the moment perfectly!
  11. We had DJ Fradal and he was excellent. His English is very good and he used to getting people involved because he DJs the Mango Deck. His email is [email protected]. Good Luck!
  12. Wow! Thanks for all the compliments ladies! I appreciate it! Like I said, Cabo Surf was beautiful and our photographer was amazing. I guess this is the recipe for great pics. LOL!

Where did you get the shells you used? Ha! Thanks, you are making me blush. My Mother-In-Law got them at a shell shop in Morro Bay CA (by San Luis Obispo). I had trouble finding them because we live in the valley. There were also some on EBay.
  15. Here are a few photos. I haven’t gone through them all yet because there are close to 1,500! Our photographer is amazing and available to travel for a reasonable fee. More wedding photos can be found at Travis Hoehne under November and our engagement shoot is under August. Enjoy!
  16. Thanks for the postitve thoughts ladies! I just checked weather.com and Angela, you are right, the 60% chance of rain has fallen to 10% and there was no mention of thunder storms! Looks good!!!!!
  17. So, I heard there was a hurricane in the vicinity of Mexico. I held my breath while I checked weather.com. The good news is that by the time the hurricane hits southern Baja on Thursday, it will not longer be a hurricane. The bad news is that it will be rain. The forecast for my wedding day is as follows: High 93/Low 72 ------- 60% Chance of Thunder Storms 60%?!!!! So, I’ve been in Cabo before when it has rained and it was usually light sprinkling that lasted about 15 minutes and then went away for an hour before coming back. I’m hoping that if rain comes at all, that this is what it will be like. But THUNDERSTORMS is such a stong compound word!!! My biggest worry is the ceremony which will be out on a beach. My reception is under a paplpa. The whole reason I picked Cabo Surf is because I love the seculded beach! So anyway, Ladies, please give me positive thoughts for next weekend!
  18. Thanks for this Ladies! I’ve just decided to use TransCabo. It actually will be nice not havgin to deal with paying them at my wedding. I just needed to know that others had padin in full before so I won’t have nightmares! Angela – Are you freaking out?! I feel like this is a dream and I have to keep pinching myself. We leave on Monday. Maybe I ‘ll run into you!!!!
  19. Gosh, what a fun couple! You captured some hilarious images that they will love forever! I want a photobooth, darn it!
  20. Thanks guys. I’m going to re-email her. I’ll use my FI’s email this time. Maybe I’m ending up in her junk box. I talked to Jenesis and she pre-paid with TransCabo and had no problems. So, if I do not hear from Monica, I will do that. I just had to make sure that I wasn’t going to pay in full and then not have them show up. Things like that can happen. Hey Christa, love the new member tag! How many posts do you have to post to get that one?! Ha!
