Hi Everyone! :)

 

 

I'm really happy to have found this forum! I've been feeling so overwhelmed trying to plan my destination wedding for Sept 2016.

 

I've gotten really good group rates for both Azul Fives and Now Jade. My fiance and I had the chance to visit both these resorts and are having such a hard time deciding between the two!! Azul Fives is more extravagant and is the most beautiful resort I've ever seen. I'm hesitating booking it though mostly because of the reviews about Lomas, their decorating vendor. Dealing with them sounds like a nightmare and I'm nervous the wedding will be completely over our budget of $10,000! We are expecting about 30 guests, maybe a little more. We want a DJ and a decent photographer. Can anyone please tell me honestly if it's possible to have a wedding this size at Azul for $10,000 or less?

Our group rate at Now Jade is slightly more expensive per person but figuring out an approx total cost for the wedding seems easier with Now Jade. Their pricing is more straight forward and it's all done through the resort coordinator, who is very responsive! Azul Fives hasn't responded to me yet. The practical side of me says to book Now Jade. It doesn't have a sky deck but it's still beautiful and the fees aren't as inflated as Lomas. The coordinator there has been so nice and helpful, his service alone makes me want to book Jade... but then I think of that AMAZING Sky Deck at Azul!

 

Brides who have had their weddings and at either of these two resorts, please help! I really appreciate any advice I can get :)

Hello Ika!

i don't have anything bad to say of any of them. But I can say that getting married in Now Jade seems to be a little more easier. Both are great, but if you want to access external vendors Now Jade will be cheaper and more accesible for you. Beaches, services, acomodations are great in both.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
