We had a site visit and have managed to get 2 hours a la carte, 1 hours videography and live streaming for $1500. I think we made quite a saving but can't remember the exact figures. We just said the original price was too high and told them what we were prepared to pay, they were very quick to agree.

We choose not to do the private reception, as we were only offered outside locations and felt that guests would probably appreciate getting out of the heat. So we went for the Italian buffet in Nizuc. I know it won't be private but they will section a part off for us so I think it will be ok. We have booked Dream art photography with the resort. We managed to negotiate a good deal, and we're happy with the examples of the work we have seen. What time is your renewal and where have you booked?

Hi, I am also renewing my vows at Moon Palace on 22nd August 2015!, and have also just returned from a site visit, although we visit the Moon Palace every year. We are having the Toucan Gazebo at 3pm, with a cocktail hour on Toucan Gazebo. I think we are having our reception in the italian at the Nizuc building. It will be our 25th wedding anniversary! How is your planning going?
