Hello, I read your comments and I was just curious to know who your DJ was. Can you PM his name if you remember it. I am having my wedding there this summer and I am really nervous because the wedding coordinator is not replying to any of my emails and I have lots of questions.

Hello Houstonnlh, You might just be my lifesaver. I am getting married next month at the Riu and I have not heard from any WC. I am not sure how to obtain a photographer or DJ. You mentioned Gilda Barillo is great and affordable...how would I go about contacting her for my wedding? I was contemplating on having the reception in a private ballroom but I am estimating about 35 guests in all and not sure if perhaps a terrace or ballroom. Any insight you can provide me with would be greatly appreciated. BTW....your pictures are beautiful. Congratulations!

Hello All, I am getting married at the Riu this year as well and I have not heard back from a wedding coordinator. My wedding is less than two months away and I do not know how to go about setting up my hair appointment at Suzanne Morel or how to obtain a photographer. Does anyone know of a reasonably priced and good photographer? I have been reading a lot about receptions being held in terraces or outside however, has anyone had a reception indoors i.e. ballroom. I am not sure which route to take. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you All and Congratulations!

Hello Ladies, This is my first time joining or talking on a forum. I have been reading all the comments and it sounds like the Riu Palace Resort is a great place to have a wedding. I am getting married there on June 15, 2013 which is not that far off and I have not heard from my wedding coordinator yet. Can someone please give me names or information on an affordable and good photographer? So far the prices I've been quoted seem ridiculous and I am already doing cutbacks as it is. Also, what is the cost of DJ's any of you have used and how do I go about obtaining information regarding a DJ for the reception? One last question...did anyone have their reception in a ballroom at the Riu if so, can you share the experience or recommend if it is worth it. Thank you
