Hi! I have actually been down this road as I wanted the gazebo for my reception as well! What they call the "gazebo" is only allowed for the ceremony and not the reception...not even for an extra price from what I was told (bummer!) But they do have what looks like a gazebo on the La Perla side for the reception that you can use. It is what they call poolside, but it does have a palm roof. Unfortunately, I have a few kids coming to my wedding, so I couldn't use the adults only side for my reception, but maybe it will work for you! I ended up going with poolside at La Esmeralda just because it looks gorgeous and I don't have to pay an extra fee. If only I had it in the budget to do it at the Gabi Club A gracious bride from this forum sent me the documents that have the pricing and locations for the ceremonies and receptions and I will be happy to pass on to you. Hello! Does anyone know why they took away the option for having your reception in the Gazebo? Is it a location you can only consider once you get there? The only options I was given was the ballroom or poolside as well. I'm going with poolside but would still love the Gazebo. They also told me kids were allowed on either side for the ceremony and reception, but that there is a maximum of three (3) kids total. I am going to have two (2) kids, so hopefully it will not be an issue. ChilliPeppa, I think 4:00 pm on the beach sounds wonderful! I was debating that location as well, but I think I finally decided on the bridge just so I can wear heels (and walk carefully on the boards!) Thanks, everyone! Hi KK2013! This is my first post on this website after trying to catch up on ALL the information! I think I have finally decided on the Paradisus Playa del Carmen as I know my dates are available and I am just waiting on the contract! I initially booked at Paradisus Punta Cana but they accidentally double booked me and my date was actually not available. Back to square one. I love the Playa location, but like you, I will have a few kids there and I am trying to not make it super expensive for my guests. Can you send me the document with the locations and descriptions of the venues? I am confused about where the kids will be able to go and not go and with one of them being my niece, I want to make sure she is a part of everything. I am using Babs as my TA with Wright Travel also from the recommendations on this site and she has been amazing! I am also thinking about using the bridge and the Gabi Bridge and Beach Club. Do you know if there is an extra charge for either location? I cannot wait to hear about your trip. I hope you bring back lots of pictures and information! Thank you!!
