  5. Thanks @lbaker! What did you include on your programs? So it only took you a week to make your menus? Where did you get the maracas/door hanger from? That is a cute idea:)
  6. Did anyone do personalized menus, seating chart, place holder cards, programs etc.? Are all of these details necessary for a destination wedding? If so, how did you find out what was on the menus, what the seating arrangements would be and the timing of all the events of the day for the programs? I want to keep things simple but it seems like people do these things even for a destination wedding? Yes? Thanks for all the input!!

  8. @leahbecker Awe hun you looked so stunning on your big day! Makes me more excited for mine! 4 more months!! We want to do our reception outdoors as well but I am worried about the rain situation too. If there is any chance of rain do they move it indoors? I am just worried that if it started to rain in the middle of the reception it would be a mess:( Were you reimbursed for a cost because you had to have it in the banquet room? I know that the main difference in the paradise and the romnatic packages is the location of the reception. I LOVED the rayban idea, where did you get them?! Thanks lady!
  9. Does any one know if they offer the blue orchids as an option? I really like this look and my colors are blue I think white lillies and blue orchids would be so beautiful!
  10. @riveriabride13 I am not sure that my last reply to your post went through. I believe you can have your reception right on the beach, just be weary I have heard it is pretty windy. Below is a link to a slide show of all the options for OCT that I found on this thread a while back.   11. @rivierabride13 - this link may help you with your planning. I saw it on a past post on here. It looks like you can have your reception right on the beach and there are different dance floor options that Planner1 Events has as well that I am sure you can have set up right on the sand.   12. Hello ladies! Has anyone contemplated between the OCT packages and the Transat packages? I have heard mixed reviews. Looking for something simple for 50 guests. Just the a la carte dinner and symbolic beach ceremony. I know Transat is cheaper but I hear they don't provide the minister and only have basic set up? Can anyone verify? Thanks!!
  13. Hi ladies!! Is anyone contemplating between the OCT wedding packages and the Transat packages? I have heard mixed reviews about the Transat packages even though they are cheaper. I heard that they don't provide the minister and that cost is $450. Also the set up is minimal and you seem to have to pay for extras. Can anyone verify this? I have 50 people coming but I want it to stay fairly simple. Thanks!

  15. @leahbecker Thanks! They were so helpful, I feel bad buying them off of houseofbrides.com but my BMs are buying their own dresses so I am trying to accomodate them as best I can. You are getting married on my 29th birthday!! W0o0o0o0! Its a lucky day:) So many Calgary brides on here! I love it!!
