Hi, I am also new on this site and am planning my vow renewal also... I was wondering how much money you would be out of as soon as I saw the location. Sorry to say but this is a very high end place, and you will be paying a great amount of money. And what I was quoted was just the location, it was not counting anything else.... Hi everyone, My name is June. I am the mother of 3 boys.... 14, 18, and 21. And I am the wife of Quentin. Yes I am already married and celebrating our anniversary with renewing our vows and a party.... I know not everyone thinks that we are married long enough to have a vow renewal, but we have been through a lot in the past few years, and as we are getting things back on track including our finances I think we can celebrate. Plus I went to the Justice of the Peace to get married, after planning for a while, then my mother died, so it seemed as though everything went downhill from there... including my family showing one another that the reason they did get along was because of my mom. It was an embarrassing time since my family hated one another while my husbands family was the best idea of what family was all about... If you plan a wedding and end up having to go to the justice of the peace, you will have a craving for a wedding... I am just saying... some of you ladies can relate. I got married on leap year 2/29/2008.... so technically we only have an anniversary every 4 years. Last 4 years we took a well needed vacation, without the boys... this 4 years I want to renew my vows, while on vacation. And I would love a New Years Eve wedding, so we can party all night without extra charges. The only problem with that is that NYE will already be an expense day as it is.... and finding an affordable place that I want will be hard to find, but I am up for a challenge. One thing I do have, I am already married, so it is less pressure. Any ideas on a nice place to renew vows will be welcome. HAPPY PLANNING!
