Hi, I'm new to this site, but we have booked our wedding for May, 2013 at dream PV. We were going to book the free wedding, but Eleane is our WC and she informed us there is no reception with this package. With the amount it would cost us to pay for a reception, we ended up staying with the ultimate package and a reception on the terrace. I'm wondering if anyone has heard about where to move after the reception ends at 1030? Em.

Hi Anna, we too have just booked our wedding at dreams PV for May, 2013. The reception ending time is something I really wonder about with planning. I spoke with the coordinator and she said to avoid a 1030 move, we could book a restaraunt (for an additional $2000us). It sounds like they do a relocation with most weddings, so I would hope that it can go smoothly. Our travel agent is looking into whether it would make more sense to take the wedding in paradise and hire the photographer, florist etc. on our own, as we were quoted $20 for this package and $85 per additional guest for the other two packages. When I asked the WC about additional decorations of the ultimate package,she didn't provide details. All I can see is one additional centerpiece. All linens seem to be white with each package... Em

Hi ladies, We are planning to get married may 2013, but the resort is still to be decided. He would like the cultural aspects of Puerto vallarta and I would like nice beaches, with some relaxation. Is this possible? I've seen pics of beautiful beaches in PV, but I hear different things about the sand and water from every source. Has anyone been married at the dreams PV, and how did you find the beach? thanks!

Hi there, I'm totally new to the planning thing, and we LOVE what we've seen about dreams PV. My only worry is the beach. There are different reviews all over the place, and a travel agent told me the sand is dark and rocky and water is murky (more like a lake than an ocean). I'm hoping she was just trying to sell the carribean! How did you find the beach? Thanks.
