  1. thats probably why she hasn't answered i sent her like 20 questions in one..i thought I would have been doing her a favor...lol I will actually attempt to call her...
  2. Hi Danielle03 Im actually in the process of looking elsewhere too...smh..I have contacted Tropical wedding to see if I can have my ceremony and dinner elsewhere , but her prices are over what Im paying for my entire renewal ceremony AND Dinner at the resort...either way Im trying to slice the cake the hotel is way cheaper...Prices can creep up rather quickly!..The whole booking rooms things is a nightmare as well as they want a night minimum booking...its so ridiculous... anyway to take so much more money...they make it damn near impossible...smh...still in the look out though...your lick you have heard from Keisha I sent her an email three weeks ago and I have yet to get anything back from her.
  3. I need a moderator to delete all of my threads for me please...I was unaware that the site used my full first and last name. I dont want anyone to publicly see what I am doing. I truly enjoy the site I would have preferred my name username was different..So if a moderator can please delete all threads I would greatly appreciate it. I will be using my other account which I was able to use with a different name. Thanks a million.

  5. Hello everyone! I am excited to hopefully book my Wedding Vow Renewal with the Husband at GBPJ. I was wondering how many brides on here went with the Free package? Im looking at approx 52 guests but it may drop to 30 as we all know not all may make it. For those who had the free package did you find it cheaper to just add on certain things vs the other packages?...I sent an email and chose the sunshine package but after i wokred the numbers I found that there werent that many differences in the packages. Only difference was being accompanied to the Gazebo, Champaigne in the room upon arrival and upgraded "amenities" for the couple only...I just want something simple..simple fabric on the gazebo with a few flowers a simple two layer cake and a great dinner and we want to spend most of our budget on the photographer and with this outrageous $800 Vendor fee I can use those $700 towards that and just add onto other things...when I spoke to Donnalee she mentioned she only had a slot for 1:30pm is this too early..any other brides have had their ceremon this early?...if so how did you keep your guests busy?...Also after the dinner if the DJ is included on the packages is he included n the free package as well and for how long? I dont understand the renting of the Gazebo/DJ is the DJ is already included Im so confused!...any help from ANY of you on here would be GREATLY appreciated!...thanks a mil Im sure Ill have tons of other questions as well!
  6. Hello, I am new to the forum and I like many others have TONS of questions..My husband and I are having our renewal of vows at GBPJ In July this year. We have been talking about it for about a year. Originally we wanted to have it at Dreams La Romana in Dominican Republic but we changed our minds...lol..since my husband is from Jamaica...so we finally decided to have it in July this year...I just want something really simple not too crazy...after all its jus a renewal but of course we want to make it special since we never had a wedding when we got married 6 years ago...We have been together for 14 years...So I finally called Donnalee and My first impression is that I felt "rushed off the phone" Which I can understand...they're busy ...now I chose the Sunshine Package Im hoping to have at least 40 guests, more than likely it will be less...I actually think that I will only have about 35...Now when I spoke to Donnalee she told me the only slot available for July is monday July 22, 2013...which is fine I took it...but the time is at 1:30pm ....is this good?...Is it not too early?...now I never had a wedding but after the ceremony is there a cocktail hour?, and what time will the dinner be?...Im guessing 6:30pm...also Ive read about the renting of the Gazebos and is the DJ included in the package??...hes like $350/hr! yikes...now I plan on spending most of the budget on the photography of course and this $800 Vendor fee is Bananas..Im just going to chalk it and pay for it...I see that some photographers will actually pay towards the vendor fee they applied back in August...outrageous! but any way....Can a past bride shed some light on this confusion?.... I kinda dont want too many long gaps in between...so here was my plan... Sunset Package... Rent Steel Drum Band $400...(to kill time for guests while The husband and I take photos and photos with family) The Dinner---> Ive seen many recommendations on Dolce Vita (anyone opted to pay extra for the Jamaican menu? if so how much per person) Contemplating weather or not I should rent the Gazebo/DJ for Dancing Later on...(if the DJ is included will I have to pay extra for this??) this is what confuses me... The fact the 1:30 is a lil early it kinda concerns me as far as keeping my guests busy... Thanks in advance too all of you!...I greatly appreciate ANY assistance I can get in regards to planning...
