Got some great quotes from them, just wondering if anyone has used them and if they are pretty reputable =). Congrats on your wedding! That is great to hear @GauchoSteph! I've heard such good things about this resort it just can be so nerve racking when all planning is done over the phone and email, as everyone can relate I'm sure! I dont get the quickest responses to emails but im assuming that goes with the whole other country thing.

Hey ladies! Gettin married at Velas Vallarta in May 2013. In the process of planning and could use any recommendations and suggestions for photographers, florists, DJ's, and hair and makeup artists for the big day! I too am a Velas Bride! I just booked our May 2013 wedding at Velas Vallarta and couldnt be more excited and nervous at the same time! I've never been to the resort, but have a friend who has, for a wedding no less, and she gave it rave reviews. All of your comments and suggestions are quite helpful ladies! I will definitely check out this MacMex photography but im curious about the Chic Concepts...is it a wedding planner out of Puerto Vallarta? How pricey were they? I am also curious as to when you all sent out your Save the Dates....is a year in advance too early? thanks ladies! Alicia

Thank you Jessie and Heather! I appreciate your replys. I too agree that the beaches over on the caribbean side are probably much more nicer since the water is frankly, the caribbean. =). Still curious as to whether it probably is more pricier to fly there as opposed to the pacific side but nuthin a lil more investigating couldnt figure out.

Well, I am recently engaged (0bviously ) and I cannot decide on whether the Riviera Maya/Cancun side of Mexico or Puerto Vallarta side is better?!! Pricing is a factor so Im not sure exactly if one side is more expensive (as far as flight and accomodations). We would be coming from the San Francisco bayarea. Any advice or recommendations on preferably all-inclusive resorts great for beach weddings would be greatly appreciated~! thanks ladies! LiLi aka overwhelmed
