Did you ladies ever figure out how to go about ironing them once you get there?

AlanaK, I'm having a small wedding with 16 guest. I'm doing the bar based on consumption since I don't have many big drinkers in my family. David, the event manager there, also told me that you can tweak the bar to basically just have a few choices so you don't have people going totally crazy ordering whatever they want. For example, you can tell him you just want margaritas, daiquiris, beer, and wine and then if you only want to spend $1000 on alcohol, then he'll tell you when you're approaching the limit and you can decide if you want to close the bar or whatnot. I have a friend who got married there last year and that's what she did and said it worked out pretty well. I chose SDML because I wanted a more private ceremony without resort guests peeping the whole time. Plus, I just fell in love with the views and terraces there.
